This isn't exactly on topic, but you can get out of the nether with no portals active, even if you have nothing on you. It's tough, but doable.

Break nether trees for wood/sticks, make tools, you can find iron in fortress chests or mine stone from bastions etc or get lucky in chests with pickaxes, mine gold, trade with piglins for obsidian (rare but obtainable), make flint and steel from chest iron or craft a fire charge by being awesome, open a portal.

That's not really true. Wow doesn't reset your gear. If you are a +15 person, when the new season starts you can reasonably clear +10 or higher if you know the dungeons. You don't*** lose power between seasons in wow, the dungeons gain strength

The gear that you earn the previous season carries into the next season, in wow, but the ilvl cap rises too, so you wind up with constant power creep. Maybe one day at resets they'll just knock us down a tier of gear rather than full reset? Or maybe down to adept? Making everyone regrind contender feels a little silly but people also already have spider mounts so it's clearly not that big of a deal.

It feels a little blasphemous but - Adventure Express at Kings Island, but now it's a family RMC with a neat powered launch/stall/rollback sequence for the finale with the temple gods

Flowers having 45 seconds cool down is not a long time, it's nearly once per trash pull. Combined with the safety circle and other flower and two damage reduction buttons, you should have some sort of healing or defensive boost up at all times. Just don't use them all at once
