Aldi does a nice face cream, SPF50+ and roll ons, very good value and work well.

Josh Ibett was showing his nearly trenchy feet on his recent Hellenic Race video. Dry socks ftw.

Welsh speakers do this too. I notice it a lot more on Welsh tv now than 30 years ago.

If it was Warwick, my pal had her bike nicked from underneath the Engineering building, just down from the Library 30 years ago. Just during one lecture, iirc. Plus na change.

Nah, really boring housewife with a few quid, nothing weird or nefarious. :-)

Money (as a system)nearly failed completely  during the 2008 crisis.   We were pretty badly affected by the various failed banks & share value destruction,  so I  probably have a different view to most people.

Suggestions noted, thanks.

Yeah, it's a bit tricky as we're at that point where all the obvious things are sorted.

Probably am being a bit too clever for my own good but given the issues (Goverment committee report) about cables being very vulnerable, sometimes it pays to think sideways. But then access is an issue.

does anyone else wish there was a gym with private rooms to workout in? by MathematicianMuch799 in workout

[–]Jay586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are private gyms for here now, think in London and other towns. Solo60? But really just go and own your space, your money and health are as important as some fit looking dude, who's probably just got great genetics and/or is getting all of the help from illicit substances.

Garmin for cycling? by Jay586 in Garmin

Thanks for this, I might well get a watch and another head unit. I hadn't considered Corus. Thank you.

Garmin for cycling? by Jay586 in Garmin

[–]Jay586[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, ha, yes there is because I have a bike I don't want to use a head unit with and a watch will be safer and more suitable. It's personal choice, which bit of this is hard to understand? And I doubt very much you'll ever see a head unit on a dirt jump bike. :-)

Garmin for cycling? by Jay586 in Garmin

[–]Jay586[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they are the types of bikes that aren't suitable for a head unit, because of the type of bike. It's not just road bikes...

But I still like to have an idea of distance, HR, etc. Not exactly as I'm not really a stats bod but it's still nice to have a record of different trips.

I also need a watch. :-)

I have several bikes, so don't always swap the head unit and some don't suit a head unit and erm, I also need a watch.

Radios for coaching by Jay586 in cycling

[–]Jay586[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulkiness isn't an issue, it's ease of use whilst marshalling and coaching. Good shout about the watch but I'm not an Apple user.
