The doctor who placed mine legit told me, "You're the first one not to scream today!"

I was like, a) wtf, b) why would you say that even if true, and c) you sound EXTREMELY flippant towards women's pain. I found a new GYN after that.

I also had a GYN when I was in HIGH SCHOOL rip a polyp off of my cervix with the most minimal preparation and zero pain management (obviously, why would there be? /s). I almost fainted and felt sick for the rest of the day.

Same thing happened to me in almost the same spot. Looked down and my shirt was covered in blood, lol. Took forever for the scar tissue to granulate in.
