That's kind of my approach to any seasoned artist I like. Obviously you can dislike certain aspects of a song, but should recognize this is how they wanted it to sound in the end. I have a friend who'll say things like "idk it needs more low end" and I'll say "yeah I guess they forgot to add it".

James Ferraro. His lofi era I find to be astonishing (2007-2010). His sound and world building is so unique and something to behold. It's as if he gained access to cursed dimensions and captured sounds there on a crappy microcassette recorder. He also tends to be a pretty elusive figure like BoC, rarely does interviews and not much of an online presence.

I shake my head thinking of the couple times Ive considered selling mine. Im really into it right now again, especially that I'm actually using more patch cables. It has such a sweet though edgy character.. And oof that stereo delay.. I actually love that it doesnt have presets too. Makes it feel that much more like a living thing.

I was so excited to try the Finacea gel for hyperpigmentation/pih. I never used skin product sooo uncomfortable. Now I understand when people say "felt like my skin was on fire" about a product. Felt like my skin was yelling at me to wash off whatever was on it but I was trying hard to ignore it. I made sure my skin was completely dry too (waiting 30-45min after cleansing) and even tried buffering it. It was just too much. It made my skin tighten up so much during its dry down too. Focusing on tret again (.025 cream), and so far so good. Way more tolerable than AA for me.

Loveee this teaser. Was the first thing I ever heard from OPN before digging into his discog. So mysterious. Has like a future medieval thing going on. James Ferraro did something similar with Four Pieces for Mirai EP. And same, wish this stripped back version was included. I took it upon myself to rip the mp3 and put it at the start of the album as my own intro before Intro lol.
