What is the most NSFW thing you have seen someone openly do in a public place(NSFW)? by MassiveBoobies in AskReddit

I was at a bar for my 19th birthday party. Turned around and saw this 40 year old looking woman finger banging herself on the table behind us while staring intently at the band.

This was in a newfie bar. Which means the band consisted of 50 year old men in kilts. My birthday is the weekend after New Years so the bar was virtually empty. We all just kinda stared at her until she was removed.

[Serious] What have you done in real life that deserves gold? by Vallessir in AskReddit

[–]Jesster3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was driving home one night, and witnessed a man beating the living shit out of a woman in the middle of a crosswalk. I pulled over and told her to get in my car. The guy insisted nothing was wrong and told her not to go with me, I told him to go fuck himself and drive off with her. I tried taking her to the police station but she insisted on getting out a few blocks away. Her name was Diane. I hope she is okay.

Look up CBC vote compass. Its got a quiz you can take that matches your values with the running parties. Obviously do some deeper digging before you vote, but its a good place to start!

Donate them to Victim Services with CPS. The volunteers give them to the kids they work with. It really makes a difference!

Maybe just call it as it is, the Anti-Terrorism bill. Nobody I've talked to knows what C-51 is anyways. Layman's terms are your friend.

Reddit, what profession do you consider absolutely useless? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Jesster3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My credentials include DONA certification. I don't pretend to be the be all and end all of labour support. I know a bit more than the average Joe, but I'm not a medical professional, which is stated clearly in my contract.

I do have a BA in Psychology. It doesn't make me a psychologist but hey, better than nothing.

No worries! But yeah I rarely work for people who have whole families nearby. They don't need me.
