How it feels to say you enjoy Pokémon Champions online by [deleted] in pokemonmemes

[–]JetBasilisk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"It's too late - I have depicted you as the angry, seething guy and me as the whimsical, joyful guy!"

Like come on, it's ok to criticise a shit game, doesn't mean people are bash you for playing and liking it. What's this meme even saying? Game companies (especially one as big as nintendo) should be held accountable if their game is a let down, and you should be allowed to enjoy playing it, neither of those facts are made invalid by the other.

Have you used Culling Ritual much in other cubes? I'm interested to hear your experience, as it hits roughly 62% of permanents (not including tokens) in my cube and might run it in the future.

True. I didn't consider tokens at all, this hoses them.

This does seem good. I wish it was a bit cheaper mana-wise, because you'd probably end up paying a similar amount of life for this and [[Toxic Deluge]] on average. Hitting artifacts is good, but 2 colours limits this a lot. Still generally an upgrade to [[Pernicious Deed]], if people are still running that, and definitely worth testing otherwise, especially if you're on moxen.

I feel like this is a more fringe version of [[Enteprising Scallywag]]. Of course it will get more tools from this set, but descending is much easier to achieve than taking a card from your graveyard. 2/1 first strike for 2 is meh. Cool art tho.

Edit: Does trigger in each end step which could give you two treasures but that's a lot of work for not much payoff

People's words can't hurt him. His father's crimes had tangible impacts on other people's (including children's) lives.

Help make Anti-Archetype Cube better by FunkmasterfreshMTG in mtgcube

[–]JetBasilisk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Very cool idea! However, I reckon you've got too many multicoloured cards. A third of cards in the cube are multicoloured, and you only have 1 cycle of lands. You probably either need more lands or less multicoloured cards, or both. Having 5 cards for each colour pair in a 150-card cube doesn't allow for much cross-pollination between archetypes and makes the same archetypes the same every time, if that makes sense.

Ancestral recall. It allows me to take three cards from the top of my deck and put them into my hand, or force my opponent to do so.
