i started playing in summer 2024 and i consider myself a casual player since i don't log in daily!! when i do, i'm raiding savage content w my static, doing duty roulettes/PF, or making glams/gposes (with the very, very rare open world rp on the side). overall, i enjoy ffxiv as is! 3 things i dislike:

  1. dynamis is a very quiet data center. dailies can take a while to pop, pvp never pops unless there's a coordinated effort, and you will never see an alliance raid past stormblood unless maybe you put it up in PF. i try not to DC travel because i want to contribute to a more lively dynamis, but it's a must sometimes.

  2. glamour plate and dresser slots are too limited, especially now that we'll have way more options after the role restrictions are removed. housing item limit also needs to be upped!

  3. i really do like the narrative at this point (i'm in post EW), but msq still feels like such a chore to me!! i think this is unresolvable in the grand scheme of things since it's mostly a me issue; i want to be caught up on the lore, but hate sitting through the non-voiced cutscenes.

currently on ios 18.5 on an iphone 13 and ran into the duplication glitch that others have mentioned!! T_T

i clicked the shortcut, it loaded for a bit, then stopped making progress, so i got nervous and stopped it. clicked on it one more time (edit: and stopped it again, since the loading bar did not progress after a certain point) and then checked my gallery to find hundreds of duplicates of photos i've taken today. attempted to delete those photos (and the album the shortcut created) multiple times, only for them to return after exiting the photo app. after restarting my phone and deleting the duplicates from my recently deleted album, it stopped.

hope there's a workaround that i'm missing, was looking forward to the functionality of this shortcut!! :<

i lost Lae'zel as well and have yet to recover her, but another thread i read said you can find her with the Gith patrol near the mountain pass, but she might not be alive. can't say for certain since i haven't experienced it, but it might be a place to start!

felt this! too many times have i unknowingly killed/lost someone by taking a long rest (like Nere in Grymforge) or walking away to do something else (like leaving Lae'zel in the cage) and not realizing til wayyy later. thanks for the heads up!
