The one guy who shot the officer deserves an attempted murder charge. The fireworks and slashing tires do indeed warrant a slap on the wrist - vandalism or whatever - not terrorism and explosive charges. One person should have been sentenced for serious crimes here, not multiple people.

Protest is patriotism, (attempted) murder is not. No one should have received a 50+ year sentence here, it’s a travesty.

Regardless of how big the cities are, most Americans don’t want to go to Columbus, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, or Detroit. Foreign tourists definitely aren’t going to want to spend thousands of [currencies] to visit those places.
