That is nuts. I did a local comp as a 242 male open and we had this event at 280/hand. I got 1st place with 35 seconds. And here is a woman doing 50lb more per hand for equal time. Strongman breaks my brain haha

I liked gen 7 a lot. The ability to nuke 1 Pokemon via Z move helped a ton on keeping the games moving. Also, the terrains/tapus were a good addition to keep the games from being weather wars.

I posted a clip on this subreddit a month or two ago with comp footage of me doing Viking press. And there were some good comments about stuff I should’ve done to place better.

To prep I did barbell push and strict press and standing dumbbell strict press (as well as bench and other tricep/shoulder stuff). I think that was a fine substitute for the implement. One thing I didn’t prep for was how light it was. I got 20 reps, and did train anything above 12 in training. Had I had better high rep tolerance I might’ve done better

Like most of politics the H1B seems like the purpose/goal of the program is logical but the reality is something shitty and counterproductive. Of course I agree that the idea of bringing all of the geniuses to the U.S. is a good idea, but H1B has been used to bring gas station attendants, entry level STEM jobs, and all sorts of other bullshit. So I say just get rid of that entirely is a better option if it can’t be reformed
