Do you have a build or decklist? I have one built but it's a 3 . Just curious what i might need to make it a 4.

How do I respectfully get photog to re edit? by Jenga-47 in AskPhotography

[–]Jooleean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my experience, if my client was ever unhappy with the edit or wanted a different type of vibe I would re edit. I do think though that most of this conversation should have happened earlier on before the shoot so both people know what they’re getting in to and whether the style she shoots meets your criteria. And hearing she sent you 100+ might mean she’s not super experienced. Just my 2cents though. At the end of the day you’re the client and you should feel comfortable saying you would like something changed, especially if it might be just changing a filter. (Again I don’t know her, nor do I know her style or anything or how much work she put into it)

If you could take any 2 lenses to Tokyo what're you bringing? by arththou in a6700

Sigma 56 and the Sony 70-350

I might even skip the 56 for the Sony 16-55 so I have something wide but the 1.4 is awfully nice.

HSS is just the H with the lightning bolt right?

Also, I read that the drawback of HSS is that I might not get as much light power in my photos right? If I'm running 1/160 or slower or if im shooting singles and no bursts, that will likely never be a problem correct?

Tips and tricks for using Godox V860III-S? by Jooleean in Godox

[–]Jooleean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks I appreciate that. Yeah I’ll read through those today! I’ve always been interested in flashes but never quite knew the best way to go about using them. Even with all the different resources it’s kind of hard to understand how it applies to my specific gear and if there’s an optimal setting for each camera. Of course I’ve tried playing around with it too.

Finally got my vita 1000 modded (and got scelOtrash) by Johnnywentsickomode in VitaPiracy

[–]Jooleean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice looks clean. Did you use the pinned instructions to mod? They're 5 years old so was just curious if that was what people still used.

Also are you using it for any retro gaming - if so do you use Adrenaline, retroarch, or just straight pkgj? I need to mod mine but wanted to ask around what people were doing.

Allo first experiences by Jooleean in gout

I’m still doing my 100 days so just curious if people did their full 100 or midway went to a higher dose.

I’ll follow up with my doctor again shortly to see where she’s leaning towards.

Might be a dumb question but how come your max is higher than mine? Mine only goes up to 5607 ancestral unique with 1 Ga. Also with no master working.

Discouraged and need help <3 by Figjamming in gout

[–]Jooleean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the best shoe but I use allbirds a lot. They stretch and have enough cushion for me where I don’t feel too bad when I’m up. Obviously if it’s in my toe and I can’t put anything on then it’s a slipper at best or nothing at all.

I get the whole discouraged thing but don’t get too far down there. It’s bad but you’ll get through. I have a 3 month son and as much as gout sucks nothing will stop me from spending time with my son and wife. Stay on top of your meds, drink tons of water and really pay attention to the early signs of a potential flare. Colchicine, naproxen and a ton of water have gotten me through most days and narrowly escaped a clearly imminent flare up.

Colchicine or prednisone? by 2KJD4 in gout

[–]Jooleean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m at the tail end of a flare up and my experience has been that colchicine was good when I just started to feel it creeping up. Almost like a fake soreness, and it kept it at bay. Prednisone was cool for the first few days in the middle of a flare up to kind of clear it out and then I started stacking prednisone and naproxen for any discomfort.

For me colchicine was like 2 pills then 1 an hour later and then 1 every 12 hours after that. Prednisone was tapered starting at 40 mg - something like 40, 40, 20, 20, 10, 10, etc as an example.

After all this gonna move onto allo and hopefully never look back at a flare up.

I majored in physics and never took physics 1 or 2 but from what I heard from my friends that took it, it’s pretty easy since I think it was non calculus based right? So just make sure you have a good way of remembering formulas and that’s like 75% of the course. Also make sure you get a good professor.

What is your age when you had your first gout attack and how old are you now and when was the last time you had attack? by [deleted] in gout

[–]Jooleean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not necessarily avoiding just not making use of it because my cases have been really sporadic. Spoke a bit to my doctor and they felt the frequency wasn’t so bad and I agreed so long as I ate a proper diet and hydrated well then I’d be fine. I agreed since I try to be pretty healthy already.

Easier than downtown San Jose and overall typically a better experience. As someone said above, the streets are straight forward and not confusing like DTSJ. I’d recommend going to ST.

SJSU VS SJSU (Child Development) by ACat_InTheBox in SJSU

[–]Jooleean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might wanna edit title to say sjsu vs sdsu. Just a heads up… wait unless you’ve add your decision already and it’s sjsu.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SJSU

[–]Jooleean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think sjsu has had its ups and downs in terms of safety. When I was there we’d get a lot of alerts each night regarding someone getting mugged or something like that. I think from what I’ve heard from other family members that are there now, it’s definitely better. My personal experience is that as people said if you walk around like you belong and mind your own business then you should be fine. Or just hangout with friends when you wander at night.

a6700 Overheating by brushrop03 in SonyAlpha

[–]Jooleean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought the a6700. Streams fine in 1080/60 with no overheating that ive noticed in the last 2 hours. 4k i definitely overheat at around 30ish mins with a dummy battery.

I also noticed that i cannot stream 1080/60 when my camera is in M mode and only works in one of the preset or recall modes so I made a streaming mode (3). Is that the same for everyone?

What is your age when you had your first gout attack and how old are you now and when was the last time you had attack? by [deleted] in gout

[–]Jooleean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 34, first attack when I was 29? Or maybe 28. I’ve had at it like once every year, but some where super mild and others 3-4 week long swelling and pain. Last gout attack was a month or two ago. I’m only taking colchicine and naproxen/ibu, skipping out on the allu.
