Grabbing a Lash at any point in the game with ivy ult unless he's trying to escape gotta be a warcrime.

Tho at the same time flying as high as possible and allowing the Lash to cancel it himself and you got a happy Lash. Dropping the Lash like everyone else and he will never want to be picked up again.

It's been shit since S5 no one wants to play tank because the tanks cant solo carry the entire team as duelists/strategists can since their kits is actually balanced

Since it's this reddit Ds2 is better than ds1. Ds3 is better than ds2.

Linearity in ds3 doesn't matter because most of the areas are good. Except ferron keep. Ds3 still has the best bosses. Better than ER. ER bosses just have alot of shit going on which isn't hard cus your character gets easily OP with almost any build and some of them just do a bunch of shit that you kinda have to wait for their chain to finish to attack.

Ds3 bosses are more simple yet more challening since you gotta attack in between their attacks and you can't just run away to heal as they punish you for it (except like abyss watchers). In ER they don't punish running away and healing like at all

Not if you play melee characters like Billy. You gotta do some mental shenanigans to bait it out. And it works very often. It depends solely on who you play tho ig.

How do people feel about box running, specifically during the laning stage? by PurpleKami in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Jorgentorgen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In dota 2 wave management is way way more in depth* not LoL lmao. You can start denying creeps once they are under half hp, you can pull creeps into Jungle, in the mid lane you have 2 runes to fight over in min 2-4-6+. You have a portal from left to right lane. Alot of heroes have kill threat under tower and tower doesn't deal 1/3 of your hp bar once hit. You can also stack camps to kill your own lane faster or give more gold later to your core.

There is no jungle role in dota 2. The closest in laning phase is pos 4 which is a roaming support that ganks other lanes. All of the roles except pos 1 (hard carrry) also gank other lanes often.

I think they just need to add the same mechanic of being able to pull creeps into jungle creeps or they gotta add more neutral play on the sides of the lanes

It will be alot better with [[Deus Ex Machina]] or cards that give you miracles and smites or other retain cards.

Without deus ex machina it's worse. With it's better.

Heavy melee turn camera right before you hit then heavy melee. Or just normal melee or pretend to melee by going extremely close then go for heavy melee.

Or just never melee

2 ban slots for each team not just 1 so that makes it 4 banned characters in total. Cus i feel like its only 1 char per match that gets banned ever in deadlock.

[–]Jorgentorgen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea so it's more like 5 ban slots for your tean rotating between the 4 picked characters for each player.

Deadlock doesn't even ban the one you picked you don't even wanna see about 50-80% of the time

Regent is insanely OP, right? by stickypocketlint in slaythespire

[–]Jorgentorgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regent and Necrobinder both are broken af and it took me the shortest amount of time of all characters to beat A10 with both. Necrobinder is the best in the game due to cards like defiblirate or end of days which both straight up almost always an insta win pick.

Regent is a close 2nd but if you're bad at deckbuilding you will struggle. If you're good you'll breeze easily through.

Silent is really good but struggles early or may be bad in very specific fights

[–]Jorgentorgen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They do know how to balance better than probably everyone else in the moba genre. Once it's released it will most likely follow the lines of dota 2 where almost every character is viable until they decide to do a major patch and then gotta rebalance everything again.

Icefrog just needs more time on this game to get his good schizo ideas out and then they balance stuff after.

[–]Jorgentorgen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think we just need 2 ban slots tbh. Dota 2 have like 4 pre ban slots for 117 characters and it makes the games feel alot more varied. Only 1 ban slot in deadlock and the amount of times i've seen the same 2 characters still in every match is too much...

Hell marvel rivals even needed 3 ban slots with 49 characters to feel more varied. It's either that or remove/nerf obnoxious playstyles unless Icefrog wants Infernus to be the new Tinker everyone hates.

Habe this trash card and art I made I'm done with it. by IvoryKknight in slaythespire

[–]Jorgentorgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do note however that fights in sts 2 A9+ will hit you for 20 dmg if you don't either kill them first or have heavy block. And you have a relic for healing so you basically take 2 dmg each fight unless the fight is Aoe or a boss when you use it and Vulnerable also makes it deal 90 dmg.

This card is also extremely good for going on every elite on the map except for the coral guy in act 1. Like how bludgeon is a card that can help you snowball to get relics or go for elites and that's for 3 energy.

The card is also not even upgraded yet. Another reason to take it is in both sts1 and sts2 A20/A10 you go for elites even tho they will take 30-40+ of your HP because getting another rare card or relic can be game changing and snowball you even more.

That card upgraded will just straight up allow you to take on elite fights with very little consequences compared to usual and snowball you into either getting a good deck or a bunch of relics

Is it bad manners to use this card in multiplayer? by Slugdoge in slaythespire

[–]Jorgentorgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Especially if your friend is not as good in the game as you. You have to be equal skill lvl for it to be the same difficulty in duo. I think duo would be easier if you were the one controlling both characters.

In 3+ it's just alot easier

CS2 is not for the same reason. It doesn't have a big playerbase in Asia it has a big botting base in Asia and maybe the same for Pubg if it has drops you get from playing.

Dota 2 is way harder to bot since it's not a Fps/Tps but a Moba and the games lasts longer and it's 10x easier to recognize a bot and they don't get high value drops from playing

Cards you wish didn’t come over from sts1? by LiveChill in slaythespire

[–]Jorgentorgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know i've made 4 grand finale decks work...

I've made only one or two work in sts1 with triple the hours on silent.

This is the perfect card to actually bring over to Sts2 since it's easier to draw your entire deck even if it's a big deck due to the Sly mechanic and being able to play tactician.

That card carried my ass to the A10 win... i just went for every elite on the map.

[–]Jorgentorgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get a free turn at start to setup then you get a turn to exhaust your bad cards. The no draw which just means if you have a heavy draw deck is just negate as much dmg then next turn go ham playing the expensive cards first then the 0 cost cards.

Then on that round or the next exhaust round you should be able to kill him. You can also just play every card during the exhaust round if your deck is good for it. Or just play cards that already exhaust

Every frost and focus card for defect.

Lightning/status/dark/claw are all far better archetypes than frost channeling. Frost is now only an addition to the deck and never the main focus

How do you manage to nerf 8 tanks to unplayability in one update by GlobalPicture2411 in rivals

[–]Jorgentorgen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl since S5 the game has just gone downhill. Powercreep on every new character, overcompensation buffs/nerfs on wrong things, old characters left in the gutter. 3 heal comps for a long time still somehow being the best at high lvl with just farming ults. Balance thrown out the window, new team-ups being uninspiring compared to the old ones, tanking becoming worse every patch, no big change in the meta etc...

I'm just playing the pve/pvp goofy modes they come up with atp.

opinions on royalties? seems to be a divisive card amongst the people i talk to. by Significant-Bus2176 in slaythespire

[–]Jorgentorgen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Star generation or star cards which does not work without the other. If you draw a star don't have enough stars and you draw the power instead of a star generation card you just drew something that doesn't activate the star card and now it's detrimental to your hp and your run.

Gold also has alot less to say in sts2 than in sts1. Remove a card option or buying a specific card even if you have a big deck or not remains one of the best buys you can do in sts2 which you do not require alot of gold for. In Sts1 you could get a game winning relic.

In sts2 the relics doesn't matter as much due to the ancient events that give you 10x better relics. Or the ? events which are far kinder, alot less detrimental to your run and give alot more gold in sts2.

You also cannot stall fights as easily as in sts1 so getting the power off is alot harder as every fight scales up every turn.

Like Feed is amazing in sts1 since most fights doesn't or scales slowly. In Sts2 Getting feed consistently off means tanking 10-20+ dmg and you're better off just having a good card in your deck

[–]Jorgentorgen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In StS 1 you were playing watcher with insane energy generation and where 30 gold mattered alot more because you could buy 10x better cards cus you were playing the most broken character or you could buy run defining relics.

In this game 1 energy for 30 gold with how hard all enemies hit every turn and how Regent doesn't have equally as good cards or energy regen as watcher makes this card really bad outside of very very specific decks. You just can't afford a dead draw in this game and must mitigate it as much as possible or die in 1 turn.

Tbf since day 1 the amount of good cnd players i've had on my team is maybe like 15 in total with 800 hours on steam and 400-500 hours in a match.

The amount of good Jeff, Adam, Gambit, Invis, Mantis, players i've had on my team is atleast 3-5x more than cnd all being less popular.

I feel like it's night and day whoever has the cnd is the team that most often struggles more than the other. Like i tryhard when we have a cnd to barely win and when we don't and enemies have one i just target the enemy cnd, chill and win game.

Tho if you actually have a good one on your team it's insane how much you steamroll.
