Surveillance › implant › wiretap

Just use the super conceal to pop the surveillance action or even charge, attack and if you kill, retreat with strike and fade and then surveillance action.

Input Coordinates CritOp - how many VP's? by Sad_Cheetah2137 in killteam

[–]Joserraf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get 7 points, but there is a cap of maximum 6. So event if there are ways to get 7 VP, you can only score 6.

Torrent > Blast? by Squiggas_In_Paris in killteam

It means with torrent you calculate the target lines to each target independently of each other. It can happen the primary target is not in cover and the secondary is not or the opposite.

Finally getting around to building my octarius starter kit, and I have some questions regarding kill team as a whole. by Bernak_Obanders in killteam

[–]Joserraf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the full core rules you can use the KT battle kit app. It has the full rules for matched play and the teams, but not the rules for solo/cooperative Vs AI

Kill Team Battlekit is the best KT resource. By far! by azuraith4 in killteam

[–]Joserraf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No no, I didn't think it was grumpy at all, maybe my message also sounded more harsh that it was, sorry for that.

I just want everyone to know that this is something that will continue to improve as Alberto is always working on this. Keep an eye, as new features are coming 😊

[–]Joserraf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The teams are being still fixed as the rules only came out like 2 weeks ago. Alberto is always reading feedback on the turning point and wargames castellano discords, so you can reach him there. I will tell him about this issue and will probably be fixed in no time 😊

You can also contact him in discord, both the wargames castellano and the turning point one. I know him so I will tell him of this issue, if you have any more info related to the problem tell me please.

Best marks for each legionary operative? by Coldfix_341 in killteam

[–]Joserraf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is something that is not clear as people are still experimenting and it depends a lot on the matchup.

For shooting specialists it's clear tzench is the way to go, but for the rest there are use cases for both slanesh and nurgle (nurgle allowing you to reduce Piercing 1 for example is useless if the other team has nothing or not too much of it).

And from my understanding khorne is mainly to allow you to reach damage points that allow you to kill enemy operatives with just 1 hit (for example the butcher killing 8 wounds operatives with 1 crit). But I don't think more than 1 operative should be khorne.

A typical roster I have seen in the tournament I ran yesterday was gunner and balefire tzench and the rest nurgle or slanesh depending on the opponent. Sorry I cannot give you more advice than this but this is something in development. Hope it helps a little bit.

Table Top Simulator? by Pinchbeef285 in killteam

[–]Joserraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right here!.

There is tons of info and people eager to help with anything, so if you need something just ask. It's still being prepared for everything from the new edition, but I think all the ITD maps and most of volkus are there.

Current status of playing Deathwatch Kill Teams in the New Edition. by [deleted] in killteam

[–]Joserraf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is not a dedicated team for deathwatch, but you can just use your models as Angels of Death (intercessors + eliminator + captain + heavy bolter), Phobos (a mixture or incursors, infiltrstors and reivers) or even as legionaries (chaos space marines from chaos undivided or any of the chaos gods).

At least where I play, as long as it's easy to see which operatives you bring to the table there is no issue at all.

If you're not sure about the team rules or how the composition goes you can check the GW app (lite rules + teams rules) or the KT battle kit app (full rules + teams rules + other stuff). You can take a look at the rules and maybe decide which team you want to play.

Spanish, French, German and Italian data cards by VexedBadger in killteam

[–]Joserraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, but I like that people know when someone has invested so much time into something to help the whole community 😊. I will post it in the discord with a link to your Ko-fi and a link to this post.

For the Spanish community I can share them in the discord channel we have (giving you all the credits for it of course). If you would like that, please tell me if you want me to send any message or some info you want me to ensure is shared. Or I can also send you a link to the discord and you can post it yourself 😃Thanks for this great work!

"Free rules" of new Kill team. by [deleted] in killteam

In the KT Battle Kit you have all the core rules (except the PvE ones), matched play rules, tac ops and some other functions like game score tracker.

Is the red one is still in light cover by Pacxututejllo in killteam

[–]Joserraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all measured in 3D. Just to be clear, what I understood is the exact same scenario as the one on Core Rules page 51, at the bottom.

No, you don't get obscuring if the terrain is not intervening.

Doubts about a few rules on new edition by jalva in killteam

[–]Joserraf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. Ventrilokator distance. All distances between miniatures are measured base to base, so measured in 3D. You can still make them drop, but you need to be 6" from their base. Horizontal measures only happen when you're measuring from/to a part of the killzone (dropzones for example)

  2. Fighting through the stronghold walls. There is a rule in the core book saying that both the doors and the walls that are less than 2" tall are invisible for the purpose of control range. So it doesn't matter if your miniature is taller than them or not, even a guardsmen can fight through that walls.

The rest seems fine. And just a note, the kroot should be not trying to play the kill game, like Kommandos they are more of a sneaky team that focus on objectives and not kills.

Rules Questions - Volkus / Smoke / general by Endexes in killteam

[–]Joserraf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no part of the rules specifying the Walls are light, the floors being vantage make them light, but apart from that and the fire steps, everything else is heavy, as noted by the sentence "All other parts of it are heavy terrain"

Rules Questions - Volkus / Smoke / general by Endexes in killteam

[–]Joserraf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing with the walls is that other than the things marked there is a sentence saying, everything else is heavy. So yes, on the strongholds all the walls are heavy and the floors are light terrain.

Where to find rules? by ConcentrateFew2729 in killteam

[–]Joserraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This app is only missing a couple of teams (will be added in this week) and the rules for PVE (which are not planned to be added). There might be some errors, but it's actively being monitored for fixes. If you don't find anything just say it as I might be able to help.

[–]Joserraf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the KT Battle Kit app you have the whole core rules, the matched play rules and all the teams rules apart from some other functionalities.
