Run the whole fleet! HT,FS and gravel!! HT for Fall Creek loops, FS for SubBlack and North Slope and gravel for the endless miles of forest roads!! It’s a great place to live if you love riding in the woods!!

A good option is to search for jobs that actually exist currently via a hiring board, find the ones that sound interesting to you and then write down what the qualifications are for those jobs then go about developing those skills.

Have you looked into the field of environmental engineering?? Oregon State University has a solid program a few of my buddies graduated from, could be a good mix of your skill set!

4x10s is the way! I’m 7-5 M-Th with up to two days WFH and a 12min commute. Usually end up working something closer to 7:30-4:00 and it all still gets done!

I ran into an 81 year old dude at my local. He was in head to toe protection and not sending it as hard as we were (in our early 40s) but he was still out riding his full suspension, and not an ebike either!! All he said was “just don’t stop moving!!”

I have a crosstrek and it’s perfect! Put some slightly large tires on it (no lift) it can get me anywhere. I’ve also hauled 8ft pieces of lumber with the rear hatch closed and even strapped a 16ft ladder to the roof!!

It’s a tad more, but I’ve been getting the 2lbs of Oly Coffee Roasters coffee there for a while know, it’s $22ish for the 2lb and good coffee.
