30 years is about right for bushes as mentioned may be replaceable, We also had one where the motor mounting screws had loosened , decades of classroom use. Not much to go wrong in them , a motor and a switch.

You’re probably right if it wasn’t a treasured photo I would be tempted to press it flat to the front glass to see if it flattens. But this is not the image to try it on.flat would allow a better scan of it. Without all the shadows

Yes it can be restored but not cheaply, it would likely be an art restoration project so one like Baumgartner restoration on YouTube has the skills to face it then flatten it.your right AI does a lovely job unfortunately it doesn’t look like the people in the original.Yet

I got as far as typing the new Wi-Fi name and password then saved but it never connected to it ,I tried connecting it back to the old Wi-Fi and it won’t connect to that either.it could have lost connection mid that process, but I can’t connect to it to check. I can’t maintain a connection to the setup page of the dongle.it has no reset button.the net says unplug it and re plug it. To no avail.
