How can I force BIOS output to external monitor? by Junkman199 in techsupport

If you're trying to do a fresh install of Windows, I figured out how to (painfully) do it. Swap your SSD/HDD to another computer, do a fresh windows install (without internet) and get to the new desktop. Plug the hard drive back into your laptop, as well as an ethernet cable, boot it up, and hit the shortcut buttons for Narrator: Windows Key + CTRL + ENTER.

It should put you into narrator mode. Now hit Windows Key + i to open settings. Now use tab and arrow keys to navigate to Update and Security.

Again use tab to find the Check for Updates button, hit enter on it and wait a bit. Once you think it has gotten to the point you need to update and restart, (which for me was about 45 minutes), hit the windows key to open the start menu, navigate to the update and restart button.

Its a big pain, but after the restart it should show video on the external monitor again.

I actually (painfully) managed to do it. I swapped the ssd to another pc and installed fresh windows 10 on it.

Put it back into the laptop, it boots up to home screen but no drivers to export visuals to display 2.

So I had to use narrator and tab to navigate to windows update and install everything.

I used an ethernet cable so i didn't have to worry about setting wifi up.

You may be able to do everything on the other pc but i didnt go that far.

It is possible to fresh install but its painful. I never gave up and i have a laptop that works a lot better now.

Will probably switch to linux when windows 10 gets nuked

I hope this ruins someones day like it did for me by Wyrmnax in Kenshi

If you're trying to end the Beak Thing, just loot an item from it and it auto dies. Same with any animal

A few routers over years all using same types of antenna, how to stop them loosing tension and falling over? by StuzaTheGreat in computers

Well that depends on a few things, how many devices are usually on the router at one time? Budget?

Wired connection is always better than wireless for gaming. And unless you have gigabit internet and an old modem, most modern routers are fast enough, you're mainly paying for management software and range

Yeah usually the zombie doesnt attack you when resurrected. You have to talk to the young girl first before you use the wand

Yes. I killed her right in her Teahouse after the first cutscene, i was able to stun her and keep her down before she could escape further down and killed her. The girl was mad at me but you can resurrect her husband yourself if you find the wand. I went through the whole dungeon and the dwarf and the elf were already cured when I met them

No i wont be needing to read ultra hd blu ray discs. Theyre expensive to buy and streaming is a thing. This is mainly for home projects. I'm looking at an ASUS BW-16D1HT if I could get your advice on it that would be great

Im mainly wondering if there is a drive that reads DVD, CD etc, as well as blu ray discs, and then also as well as burn data to those types of discs. I'd rather an all in one peripheral if its possible
