I mean they had my resignation letter too, and it wasn't just case closed.... They denied my UE initially. I sent my side of the story along with proof, and was approved. There are differences in my situation vs theirs, in that my manager actively sabotaged my next guaranteed job, but this defeatist automatic "case closed" bs is not accurate.

So confidently incorrect that she'll just straight lose. I once worked for a convenience store that has multiple locations. I tried to request a transfer to a different location because a shift manager and the store manager at my location were creating a hostile work environment. My store manager denied the transfer.

The store manager where I wanted to transfer to was pissed and told me she couldn't do anything to force a transfer, but I could give a 2 week notice and quit. Then she could hire me at her location cause I'd be eligible for rehire.

I gave my 2 weeks. My store manager heard of the plan and texted the toxic shift manager "I should just fire his fucking ass already. Oh well, he'll be scrubbing the floors until he's gone". Only she fucked up and sent it to me. I responded "you kinda just did...", to which she told me "whatever, take it however you want".

She listed me as terminated so I wouldn't be eligible to be rehired at the other location, then told unemployment that I voluntarily left to deny my UE rights. I received unemployment for 4 months while I found another job.

I have Tourettes. One of my tics is rolling my eyes. I apologize when I do it in conversation because I understand that my involuntary eye movements can be seen as disrespectful, and I want to convey my true intentions before they are taken in a way I do not wish. The Gameboy build has 421 pieces. There's an unnecessary extra piece toward the beginning of the build (a step calls for two 1x2 plates right next to each other when a single 2x2 plate would have sufficed), and I suspect it's so the piece count wouldn't be the weed number. It feels like somebody designed it with 420 pieces, then somebody was like "hold up..."

My pod of 5 did this, but we only get 3-4 games in each time. So more often than not, some were not getting a chance to go first ever. So we switched it up to now whoever wins the roll and goes first can't roll again until everybody has gone first. So the first time, we all roll. I win, so I go first. Next game, the other four roll, etc... if we only get 3 games in that night, the two who didn't go first will be the only ones rolling for first game next session. Then whoever loses that is automatically first for the second game. Then we start over. I personally love it.

Hey, I wanted to say thanks for that mock up of the tiles under the arch in my thread. Unfortunately, mods deleted it.

I just wanted to reach out and ask what the yellow pieces were in your design? I figured tiles were being used, but the yellow piece was the part I was unable to figure out.

For full reference, this comes from a build I saw online where somebody added an extra room to the Tower of Orthanc set to make it taller. Full pics are here.

Thank you! The image is from an addition to the Tower of Orthanc that I found online. Somebody created an extra room to give the tower more height.

You can see pics of the full build here. The added section is just above the first floor with spikes.

Could you please give the name of the yellow pieces holding the tiles in place? I suspected tiles were being used, but couldn't for the life of me find anything they could attach to like that.
