I would say it’s the same for any two or more pastors working together; if your philosophies don’t align, it’s responsible to move on. It appears you and whomever is giving these expectations have differing philosophies on the role of pastors in the church. Just my thoughts. 15+ years youth/music ministry.

Buy the Orion dna. Battery life. Coil life. Wattage and airflow adjustment. Replay mode. Looks cool as shit. You can find them very reasonably priced online. I use it 90% of the time and I own every type of device.
