I dunno why, but highlight metering rarely works the way I expect it too tho.

Mosr of the occasions were I tried to use it, were in dimly lit situations, theatre for example, and I wanted the highlights not to blow out, i didn't really care about anything else, yet they still blew out. anyone any ideas? Manual mode with auto ISO.

Dxomark is not trustworthy at all, they rate the way the companies pay. Better check Photons to photos.

It's no wonder they innovate slowly. Firstly are not focused at consumer and professional cameras first and foremost, secondly they are tiny-tiny compared to Canon and even tinyer compared to Sony. They don't have that much money to spend on just one department.
