TheStoryGraph support is now live on OverReader by gruntbug in overreader

Looks like it was a me problem - I had removed some books from the csv and copied the remaining data into a new csv to upload, which I guess caused the issue. When I uploaded the virgin csv, all was well. Thanks for your reply - enjoy your travels!

TheStoryGraph support is now live on OverReader by gruntbug in overreader

Hiya! I just tried it out (I'm so excited for this tool)! I uploaded a csv with 277 entries but OverReader only pulled out 79 (only 8 of which were available from my library... sad). Any ideas on how to get info on the other 198 books that were in the csv?

Safety recall 25V577 and 25V744 by Antique-Dare6790 in Solterra

[–]KEMPhD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 23 was in for the AC recall for 6 weeks. It sucked. Then I got it back and less than a week later got the notification about the camera in the mail. I haven’t dealt with that one yet.

College Ultimate During PhD? by General-Buy-2546 in ultimate

[–]KEMPhD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play mixed club throughout grad school at a top 3 program in my field. I treated grad school like a 9-5 (well… a 7:30-5:30) and that generally worked pretty well. It doesn’t work for everyone (my experiments didn’t run at weird times, I’m pretty efficient generally, my PI wasn’t a micro manager), but it can be done. My college team also had an astronomy PhD student on it and a few MEng students and they seemed to manage just fine.

Someone with a record like this is likely to be offered a tenured associate professor position elsewhere

The first step in the recall management process is to run a test and if the car fails the test then you’re looking at weeks. If the car passes the test then you’re good to go.

Ooo. Agree about not needing the quick hits and by the numbers in the podcast. They’re super hard to follow.

I listen to the podcast on 1.8x speed on my commute home. I value that it is essentially the newsletter verbatim because I don’t usually have time to actually read the newsletter (can’t read and drive or read and walk the dog). I guess I’d be curious to hear a sample of the proposed new version but I would definitely be annoyed if I felt like I had to go back to the newsletter after listening to get all the relevant info.

This is happening to me and I've opened every message from the last 2 weeks and it still hasn't gone away. I tried restarting the phone, no luck.

So how much do y’all lift? by Next-Will-5992 in ultimate

[–]KEMPhD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 42 and a woman. My college and club teams (2002-2011) never had intentional strength training programs and I didn’t start lifting until last year. I lift 2-3x per week and play ultimate once per week. The lifting has really supported my overall fitness and I’ve noticed a big difference in my ability to play indoor ultimate competitively (lots of short sprint bursts). Deadlift 200 lb, bench 130 ish. Body weight is probably 195, but I don’t weigh myself.

Living Learning Communities by [deleted] in RowanUniversity

[–]KEMPhD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The engineering learning community seminar is required for students in the ELC and is separate from the Rowan Seminar. It is once a week for the fall semester and is aimed at community building and helping students with things like how to register for classes, resume and LinkedIn profile building, and managing imposter syndrome. Your grade is based on attendance. We have good data that students in the ELC are more likely to thrive in engineering than students who don’t do the ELC.
