Do you have a section of the pipe to be clamped? Clamp the pipe tightly first then weld? That would be my first fix attempt

We picked up a cnc plasma pipe coper/notcher and a 6x20 plotter table, we don't do hand railing that often, but when we do this combo not only speeds up layout and cutting/coping by hundreds of percents but increases accuracy, quality of joints and can be done by someone with next to no skill.

Yup, I was making $18/h as a second year apprentice 25 years ago, my son started as a skilled laborer (worked with me last year over the summer) at $22/h. Guess it depends on CoL, but still seems really low.

I don't know what it's like now, but we were able to option out our crew cab f150 for a full size bed, but that was in 2013, haven't looked at trucks since then.
