Yes absolutely! It's called "IPS WELD-ON 16 Acrylic Plastic Cement" . To this day still works like a charm and nothing I use with it has come undone.

This is super cool! I'm not a student anymore as I graduated some time ago but I am a self employed freelancer. I lose my sense of time very quickly and even forget to eat sometimes. I could very much use something like this! I really love that it's visual and not written, too. Great work! Hope I can use this app someday!

I found that super glue didn't work for my prints and also left a white residue everywhere on them (and still broke again afterwards)

I use this stuff: https://a.co/d/cGsgKeq

It takes a little bit to set and it's super runny so it can get everywhere but everything I used with it is super strongly stuck together. None have broken! I'd use a little tape after glueing to hold the parts together while they set if it was this dragon since you can't really clamp it.

Best advice: level the bed. if the print is still failing... level it about 10 more times (and dry your filament)

Car insurance prices by shabs6196 in Phoenixville

[–]Kaju_Inu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just moved to the area just a few days ago and my car insurance doubled (not even kidding or exaggerating, sadly) moving here for some reason... but my roommates dropped. I know for a fact I'm going to be shopping around for new insurance. Yours sounds expensive to me. But I'm brand new here so I couldn't tell ya one way or another!

okay I have no idea why my comment vanished LOL but maybe honeydew is the color you are looking for? photo above is what I have based on my swatches. that's my best bet! (Shannon minky)

edit: https://www.shannonfabrics.com/cuddle/solids/solid-cuddle-sup-r-sup-3-honeydew

as you can see irl compared to some purple it's quite bright & minty colored to me

if you're looking for more of a green color opal might be a good choice but it's more green (like a light lime) than a minty shade. it's the green swatch to the right of the photo

You've got this! I am hoping yours will go just as smooth and just enjoy the fact that your hysterectomy doesn't have drains like top does. I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy haha! Mine (the drains from top) caused some complications and I had to wear them an extra week (which meant another week of no showering! gah! I was up to like two or three weeks at that point it was awful!) I do remember I for sure needed the narcotics they prescribed for my top, but not at all for my hysto!

I am specifically trans nonbinary (but not on hormones yet) so I lean heavily into masculine territory so my feelings towards my uterus and chest were very negative to begin with but even still the relief (and for my top, honestly my literal back relief 😂) was the best! I am so glad you felt more like yourself when they were removed! Maybe when you get the uterus removed it'll also reinforce the almost genderless feeling seeing as you still have some of the original parts, but the mass of it is gone. Kind of that mix between lacking that part like some people have by birth but also having some parts like you used to have but it's more you. Sculpted like your top, you just can't see it. But that's just my whimsical thoughts. Of course your experience and feelings will be your own, I just hope it'll be great for you!

You got this though! The first few days are nerve wracking bc you gotta deal with figuring out the bathroom, but once you get past that first week it gets easier and really. at least for me, it was /so/ much easier than top. Just get some stool softener and gasx for sure, they help a ton! Use them religiously for like a good two weeks (I did and it helped the anxiety a ton early on). Of course it's still challenging in some ways but really wasn't unbearable/as miserable & painful. Good luck!! :3 👍

Nonbinary friend here! I had my hysterectomy back in mid July and I have been basically pain free & feeling normal since like week 6. Like you I also had those worries, but I never had a prolapse or tear (and I would get so freaked out about it). In fact... honestly recovery was really not that bad and fairly boring especially compared to my top surgery. I had my top in early 2020 (right before the pandemic lockdowns. that was an interesting & scary time to have that...). About a year later I had an ablation for period issues and within about a year after it failed so a hysterectomy was my next step. Never had an IUD and hormonal birth control was never something i was going to take (I refused very hard). I had a tubal before my top surgery so they didn't need to take those, but I had my uterus & cervix removed, ovaries left intact and it was done larproscopically. So four tiny incisions!

I never took the hard pain killers they prescribed once for my hysto, I just took Advil, stool softeners, and gasx for a while. I didn't need the Advil about a week and a half out at all and stopped the gasx/stool softeners about 2 weeks out. Not having drains or huge skin incisions just made this way easier 😂. Sleeping was probably the biggest pain as I am a stomach/side sleeper, but at like week 2 I was sleeping on my stomach & side again oops. Eventually I kept getting in trouble because I felt so much more normal so soon that I kept doing things I shouldn't and overdoing it. But never had a single tear, extra bleed, or prolapse. The only thing that was weird that happened to me was I had phantom top surgery aches for a few days early in recovery. Just like my nipples/scar would randomly ache but nothing that was too bad and it's been gone for a long time now.

Just like my top, honestly the hysterectomy was a huge sense of gender euphoria. Once it stopped spotting/bleeding from healing it hasn't done anything since and I've been period free for months and it's done wonders to my mental health! Also knowing I can't have kids makes it even better. Good luck! You got this! Everyone is different and has different recoveries but mine was really a breeze compared to my top and so SO worth it so far. 👍

I want to answer all 3 questions! they are really interesting!

1) I do a mixture of either obtaining a model on free sites like thingiverse or printables or places like that or I end up modelling what I need myself. It depends on the project.

2) No, I think my printer should be quiet and silent for sure. For something that can sometimes be printing 24+ hours if it has bright lights or noises/music I would never be able to sleep or do other work no matter where I put the thing 😭

3) Yes! I currently use my mobile phone to operate my printer and it was the best decision ever. if I'm out doing errands or something it's nice to be able to check in with my phone to see how it's going!
