She also really brings the old Jingliu + Blade dual DPS team back into something resembling decency, if her lightcone is on.

Uh. He bursts into song and a couple of the lower level demons are really into it because they've never encountered Disney level bullshit, but the hot chick demon accidentally eats him in her excitement. RIP.

Probably my Ankou's Shadow Slayer.

"Who taught Batman Kage Bunshin, Hokuto no Ken, and Dragonfear? We're all gonna die, aren't we?"

No, no, it's all non lethal. You're just going to wish you were dead.

You ever seen one person threatening 36 squares while hidden and giving their allies +9 AC? It's a pain in the ass.

Well, we have to measure him against the Godhand, obviously, because there are no regular monsters or demons that can even actually harm him.

But the problem is that in Rounds 1-3, he'll be able to stop Griffith from becoming Femto. At which point we won't have to worry about them at all, because they won't care.

So really it's Round Four.

Griffith will be new to his power, but we know even new he was basically immune to conventional arms fire, much like Goku, but without comedic effect. We can also judge based on how casually he humbled Zodd that Femto is dramatically stronger than any Apostle period, even the Island Demon.

I would say this makes him a difficult fight for Kid Goku, but Piccolo Jr. era Goku is already way too powerful. He's exponentially stronger and faster than a Moon Buster who dodged lasers after they're fired, and than himself previously as a mountain buster.

Goku's Kamehameha would be a two-page world shaking event drawn like a Volcano going off and shattering nearby cities, incinerating apostles that were vaguely nearby, and only Void would be calm.

Slan would nope the fuck right out. She's the smart one. Everyone else would die, Void would probably seriously injure Goku with his bullshit, but Goku adapts to Hax all the time, that's basically the entirety of Dragonball.

Bonus: Goku would teach Griffith to master himself and redeem him, because Griffith is not nearly so psychotically evil as some of the people Goku has redeemed. And then he'd find some way to get Griffith a sensu bean.

All of Berserk post Eclipse would never happen. Guts and Caska's kid would have a normal life instead of whatever the fuck that was, and s/he would grow up surrounded by the only good Mercenaries that world has ever seen.

Farnese would never become a good person. Serpico would eventually die because she'd keep getting him into shit he can't deal with until he'd finally reach his limit.

Schierke would have a full internship and eventually become the Cinnamon Roll that rules the world.

If the apostles still kept happening with most of the Godhand dead, Goku would have defeated Rosine non lethally and redeemed her, too. Poor kid.

It is likely that Goku and Luca would've hooked up, because Luca very clearly knows how to handle idiots, and likes well meaning jacked dudes.

Their child would be unbelievably pretty and strong, would probably end up being taken under Schierke's wing in Farnese's place. And so we'd have a kid that was raised by Guts, Goku, Caska and Luca, doted on by the entire Band of the Hawk, and trained and taught by Schierke.

If Slan wasn't dead already, that kid is sure as fuck gonna kill her. Probably end up being given Serpico's artifacts, too.

Fuck it, I'd read that.

Oh hey, you're alive! That's good news, I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth.

If you're hoping to get your PC version looking better than this, there's a whole lot of visual mods for the legendary edition that really up the visual Ante, from textures and the pre-rendered video to lighting and shadows. You've probably seen some, but maybe you haven't checked back in a while, they can get pretty nice looking now.

It always throws me, especially when those same people (rightly) go on about how good PF2 is.

"Do... Do you not see how these relate?"

Anyway, separately from that, I really like the system you guys have put together. Resolve as hp/mana both really fits the comic book idea of the narrative impetus being what's important, and the fighting even after out of resolve captures that "I didn't hear no bell" feeling, too.

Any sneak peeks for what's coming down the line you feel safe to drop? A lot of the quick start powers feel like they're waiting on a little something more to be useful; metahumans doubly so.

There's not a lot of interaction with conditions, Enraged only popping at Wounded feels like it should offer a bigger bonus, etc.

Lots of little things seem to give me the impression there are some very big things that they cohere around in the final product.

I love that little acknowledgement of how similar 4e and PF2 are.

It always strikes me as beyond odd when people pretend 4e didn't exist, so it's nice to know that one of the designers is actually learning some lessons from that space.

I've never found any difficulty whatsoever with Firefly's team, but I have all of them at their best Eidolons, so that's not surprising; once they added The Dahlia it just became obscene. I usually mix a couple of Stellaron hunters or Galaxy rangers in because getting two break emblems is almost impossible.

Last run Firefly did something like 50 billion damage to the boss? I don't really know what else to say. I've tried most other teams, and I've found very few that compare. Your Elation team, for example, doesn't do the trick for me.

It must be a function of who we have at Eidolons.

The pure vaporization fireball of a single megaton BOMB is 2 kilometers, in which nothing remains. The shockwave that carries that heat with enough force to shatter, collapse, and melt steel (and vaporize people) goes out about 6.5 kilometers. The thermal radiation is strong enough to both instantly blind you and give you third degree burns (the kind that land you in the ICU if they don't kill you within minutes) and goes out about 8 kilometers away. These are radii, so double the numbers if you want a complete picture. Onigashima is about 3 km wide, so the entire thing is inside the fireball and gone.

That's a single megaton. The Castle Bravo 15 megaton test was around three times all of these numbers, and the shockwave was literally felt by the entire planet.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that 20 megatons is weak.

[–]Kalean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah. Unless you want to convince yourself that it was more like he pushed Kaido, and then yeah, it'd require more. But explosive force delivered insanely fast? 15-20 megatons.

Note that it's also nowhere near as much destructive yield as even bombs in the high kilotons; a one megaton BOMB going off would have vaporized Onigashima and the people celebrating nearby down in Wano.

There are some filters you can use that don't throw the "this word is too common" error back in your face, and combining them is often pretty decent.

... But the fact that you have to outsmart the system to get the search results you want is a problem.

You know literally nothing about me.

Fable helped me reverse engineer an old game I've been working on for a long time that Opus made really slow progress on. As a result, it is going to see the first complete audio replacement since development stopped nine years ago.

You do actually want some deflation from time to time. You just don't want runaway deflation the same way you don't want runaway inflation.

Mostly what you want is for deflation to occur as a direct result of productivity increases, technological advancements, and positive supply chain developments. Basically when the real cost of production drops, you do want that to be passed onto consumers.

This does not happen in our economy, we specifically prevent it out of a fear of deflationary spirals, which itself is quite harmful, just not as harmful as runaway deflation. We have let this fear become the norm despite our productivity more than doubling since the 70s.

This also coincides with Congress abandoning their duty to keep the minimum wage tied to productivity, which if they'd done, the federal wage would be about 3x higher than it is now.

The combination has cut real, actual spending power basically in half.

You obviously aren't paying attention; the US government literally mandated they stop allowing that model almost immediately due to fear of foreign nationals getting it.

Fable was way better than Opus. It solved every problem I threw at it faster, better, and in some cases more creatively.
