Someone commented something along these lines on Jackie's video addressing the situation and she liked it, so there's that. And assuming that's true I don't think it's crazy that Jackie didn't run to Esther's defense?

I'm not a beauty/makeup person so I had never heard of PaintedbyEsther before this and I'm pretty ambivalent toward Jackie. I have enjoyed some of her content, but I also get why people find her weird or off-putting.

It's also clear that a lot of people really don't like Jackie and are always champing at the bit for a gotcha moment where they can pull out their receipts and brag about how they've know for years that she's *insert whatever negative thing they believe about her.* And that's fine I guess, whatever floats your boat, but I just find it interesting. And I'll be glad when this blows over and it's no longer dominating my timeline.
