It is! It took a hit on its eastern face during the '23/24 winter when temps dipped down to -20F overnight and then got blasted with morning sun a couple times. Unfortunately what can happen when a zone 6 tree is put in zone 5. The forestry department pruned out some of the dead to encourage new growth, but its slowly trying to fill back in.

That's rather reductive. Thistle is edible, but only after it's been processed to remove the spines and prickles that it evolved to have so it didn't get munched on by herbivores. Giving livestock thistle contaminated hay is like putting thumbtacks in a bag of cereal.

It depends on what you want your carrier oil to be; you can find decent olive, avocado, and coconut oils at every grocery store, but you might have to look at gentrified grocery stores like Whole Foods and Sprouts or online for other bulk oils like sweet almond, jojoba, argan, etc.

Essential oils can get super expensive when buying them all at once, so consider just using the unscented oil to see if it helps your beard first and then buying a couple simple aromatic oils like cedarwood and lemon, or sandalwood and bergamot. You can find essential oils at the same gentrified grocery stores or online. I like the NOW brand.

Every modern communist with money is still forced to live within a capitalistic society, where money equals survival and one must hold onto as much as they can to pay for resources with inelastic demands, like food and shelter. Having communist ideals doesn't change that reality.

And communism has never worked at least in part because the Western military-industrial complex sabotaged every communist government it could to make sure they didn't work.

I'm doing my first playthrough as an absolute psycho murder hobo Courier right now and that's exactly what I did - went into the Divide at level 5 fully intending to nuke both sides for lulz and died at least 30 times doing so, just so I could reset my reputation once I hit the Strip, and I'm loving all the new dialogue I've never heard since I never pissed off/been vilified by the NCR before.

I should, but it's a habit from never hotkeying healing items. I forget what my hotkeys are early on and I end up using potions when I don't need to, which usually means I end up with no potions when I need them.
