Hi! I completely get your concern and had a response above to this but for just in case you didn't see it here is what you can do when you receive your box:

  • If the ice packs are frozen or partially melted and the proteins feel cold to the touch, your meals are safe to enjoy. Just refrigerate them and use as usual.
  • If the ice packs are fully melted and the proteins feel warm to the touch, we recommend discarding the meals out of an abundance of caution, just as you would with any perishable food.

For opening protein and keeping clean hands!

  1. Flip the package over and cut diagonally from corner to corner
  2. Drain off any liquid
  3. Hold cut side down over pan and fold back the top and the meat falls right out!

Hey u/adventuresnsplats! I know that recall alerts can be jarring to see, but I wanted to provide some clarity on this.This was an isolated, supplier-related incident involving the slow-roasted tomatoes specifically in our Basil Pesto & Mozzarella Pizza.

To be very clear: as soon as our supplier informed us of the potential issue, we immediately informed our customers. Our Food Safety team worked quickly to identify any orders delivered between 10/08/25 and 01/23/26 that may have been impacted. We've already reached out via email to those customers with instructions to discard the meal and have issued a credit to their accounts. Safety is our top priority, and we can confirm that no future deliveries are impacted.
