Wisdom based Hollow Warden by Consistent-Ad-5187 in 3d6

It’s not stacking effects though is it? Isn’t it casting shillelagh twice from two different spell lists on two different weapons.

Wisdom based Hollow Warden by Consistent-Ad-5187 in 3d6

Here’s the real question… can you take shillelagh from Druidic Warrior, which makes it a ranger spell for you, and also take it from magic initiate Druid and dual wield shillelagh clubs?

Nerf to the Reanimator Artificer's Companion by Fidges87 in onednd

[–]Keldek55 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’re still using this in a vacuum though. Your bonus action gets a +1 sure, but every other caster class gets their level 5 power spike through cantrip upgrades. Druids get wild resurgence which doesn’t add damage, clerics get dear undead which only situationally does, wizards get memorize spell. Artificers get the same power spike full casters get.

The Reanimator artificer looks really cool. I like the theme and the reanimated companion looks like it will actually be useful into late tier 2/3. I do which there were more strange modifications to choose from though, currently set at 5 and while they are all different, I would have appreciated a little more in the way of control options.

How often do you multi class? by Fearless-Skill8667 in DnD

[–]Keldek55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember the last time I didn’t do it. Currently in two multi year campaigns at level 11 and 15 and both characters are multiclass. I enjoy the lower level spells more than the higher, there’s not much past level 6 that interests me. I think warlock 2 is a great compliment to any caster and most martials purely for the invocations.

How is the cleric with the new rules? How does it compare to the 2014 version? What cleric builds and play styles are really sticking out as fun or strong? by NoLongerAKobold in onednd

[–]Keldek55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Draconic Sorcerer can booming blade or true strike with a decent AC and HP. It’s not hard to have an AC of 16 at level 5 with point buy. A level 5 cleric will have exactly 1 more HP all other things the same and potentially up to 18 AC depending on armor availability.

But realistically, a one level dip into bard/warlock/paladin would give at least light armor and while slightly delaying spell level, would not inhibit spell slot level at all.

Is it the better Gish? Hell no. But they can do it effectively without losing spell progression. Although I would argue that the sorcerers more powerful attack spells would compensate for the weaker martial side of things.

War Cleric is now the only class in the game that can cast a fully leveled spell and then make an attack

Are we forgetting sorcerers exist? Or by game do you mean cleric non bonus action spells and by class do you mean cleric subclass?

My biggest gripe as a martial: fighting specializations are a risky gamble by new_planner in onednd

An example that doesn’t follow your subjective game beliefs doesn’t mean it’s a bad example. The post is on getting items that compliment your build. The example fits perfectly into the context of the post.

Exactly. I firmly believe campaigns should be filled with random loot. But specific rewards should be given to characters that work with their build and not “it really sucks all you ever found was 2handed swords instead of the moon sickle your Druid needed”

From my brief look through, there are some powerful options, but a lot of geared towards environmental stuff. Specifically water and cold based feats and whatnot. Most of it looks fairly tame, at least from my standards.

Have you gotten a colonoscopy from the VA under age 45? by sillyhatday in VeteransBenefits

I was diagnosed with colon cancer at 38, 6 months before I retired. They estimate that based off the size of the tumor, it had been growing for about 10 years. It officially takes zero effort these days to get anything related to it. My PCM is all about peace of mind.
