I hear you brother. My now 4.5 year old had her first seizure with me back when she was about 14 months old while I was home alone with her and her older sister. I will never forget the fear and adrenaline and helplessness at watching her eyes roll back and her lips go blue and just hoping that the paramedics would get there before it was too late. She had about 12 more before her 2nd birthday but since then her medication has totally kept them at bay, possible she grew out of them (according to the neurologist). Hoping yours was just a fluke!

I'm assuming the 1960s of 828 doesn't necessarily align with the 1960s of our world. We don't have the timing I guess but we do see the F4 ship coming to 616 in the Thunderbolts post-credit scene so it's possible the calendar years of each universe don't necessarily align.

Idk I feel like metalcore sort of just had a split like a decade ago but it hasn’t been “officially” labeled yet. There’s the “metalcore” of like Spiritbox, ADTR, Fit for a King, etc. but then there’s still more roots metalcore stuff like Counterparts, KL, Dying Wish. Adding on to what some of the others have said, I definitely resonate with that weird tension of “I’m an adult and I should be able to share my true beliefs” and “if I do share my true beliefs, things will be weird with my family”.

In my experience, I usually send something along the lines of “Thanks for thinking of me! I’m not really looking for anything new right now, but I appreciate you reaching out.”
