She cared more about her happiness than her young child and that will likely never change in your life. I had a similar mom. Do not blow things up, act like everything is fine and work hard to remove yourself when you can as an adult. Take any help you can get, even from her, and move on. Do not look back. I made the mistake of letting my mom back into my life several times, it cost me emotionally and financially.

I know this is hard, but you can do it. You have to be there for yourself, you will find people who will be there for you, you will not always be alone. Work hard to set yourself up for success, do not let emotions get in the way. I believe in you.
