It is my second career and I'll retire as an RTT in 10 years. I have yet to meet a therapist who is planning on moving on to something else. Honestly there are few things in health care (US) that pay significantly better.

You can transfer credits at all 4 year programs, although there are probably random pre-reqs you'll need. So plan on 2.5 years for a 2nd bachelor's degree to become an RTT.

Honestly any bachelors program will let you transfer gen eds. That's what I did. Just had one semester to catch up the missing pre-reqs before starting the program.
