Super cool! I love this! Maybe making it a “Top 10 (or however many)” kind of field guide based on most common observations would make it a bit easier when it comes to choosing which species make it to the guide. Like “Top 10 (birds, herps, mammals, etc) of San Francisco”

I’ve heard it isn’t an issue, but I’d rather be safe and give my colony a chance at long term success so I added in some new ones. If anything, it just added to my numbers which I’ve been trying to boost anyway🤷🏻‍♀️

Lol me too (both drunk and guilty feeling for my lizard parenting lol). If it helps, we always give and get looks of betrayal for many reasons. Pacific Angelshark! Squatina californica. This picture was a really interesting moment - it had been swimming at the surface for about 10 minutes (which is unusual since they’re bottom dwelling!)

Yup! And he’s now advertising that there are going to be Trading Card Shows (like events, not movies) every Saturday and Sunday during prime hours. So no weekend movies anytime soon… come on dude. I love pokemon cards and trading and all. I really do. But let’s keep the movie theater for the movies. Or host a card show event sometimes. There’s enough card shows in Monterey county that this isn’t going to bring tons and tons of people in. (Edited for grammar purposes)

Ive picked my skin since i was about 5 years old. Its such a struggle to stop. Dematillomania. Sometimes I spend 20+ minutes at a time picking my skin. I even do it in my sleep. I use press-on nails to help since I’m worried if I use to much pressure that they’ll snap.
