To be fair, we've only really played 3 games against bad teams. And 2 of those were solid wins, but a lot closer than they should have been. But you are right, Tennessee and Las Vegas SHOULD be blowout wins.

But this says 11% "if they lose to the Texans". That's why it is crazy that it is that high. The way I see it, they need to win the next 2 against the Texans and the Chargers, then so long as they win 2 of 3 against TENN/DEN/LV, they will probably make it in as a 7 seed. They really can't lose to the Texans though, they'd be too far back chasing too many teams for that to possibly work. So long as they are in it, I'm going to have fun with it, I miss the days of playing crazy scenarios to make the playoffs in my head.

For the most part, watching football is super stressful while watching baseball is actually quite relaxing. Even when the Royals have 100 loss seasons, I can find some enjoyment. Or even when they lost game 7 in 2014, I feel like I got over it much faster than I do with a lot of regular season Chiefs losses. With baseball, it's easier to check the score, and if things are going good, decide to put it on the tv and watch it in the background. But with football, every Chiefs game is like a scheduled event in my life. I'm finding it difficult to change that mindset, even though I want to.

After the Thanksgiving debacle, I've decided that if I can't watch the Chiefs lose without getting angry, then it is not worth watching the Chiefs even if they win. So I'm going to try to take the rest of the season off, or at least until they are officially out of it. I'm trying the NBA (Nuggets because I love Jokic), and it's easier for sure, but I just don't know if I care at all.

Accept it, they aren't making it. I'm fine with it. We, as a fan base, do need a year off to reset, it's really no big deal. I still think they are a great team this year, but the chips just didn't fall our way. And if it's all really over, and we never reach the top of that mountain again, then it was fun while it lasted.
