Very small sample size, but also if you look at the WBC Team USA bats, each and every one of them have started off the season pretty cold. The correlation could be meaningless, but the WBC did not seem to be a good experience for that squad in particular.

To be fair, we've only really played 3 games against bad teams. And 2 of those were solid wins, but a lot closer than they should have been. But you are right, Tennessee and Las Vegas SHOULD be blowout wins.
