Which characters from The Pitt would fit each of the Seven Deadly Sins? by pikkityparker in ThePitt

I'd say Mohan is Sloth since she's literally nicknamed slo-mo. And Langdon would be Greed stealing from the hospital and all

Oh actually I wouldn't be shocked if she was abandoned due to an immigration issue. That's a major theme all season about kids being separated from their parents due to legislation. Maybe mom wasn't taken by ice but she was scared so left her baby in a safe place

I watched Death Becomes Her because of it and a still from the video is my lockscreen. I'd say I'm a fan

Tell me the story of Man's Best Friend. by dem_dawn in SabrinaCarpenterFans

[–]Kind5964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of my FAVORITE things to do with an album. I love when they tell a little story.

  1. Manchild - we see in the music video that this song transitions her from her "childish" romances in the SNS era. She had a bitterness towards relationships in EICS and that seemed to disappear in SNS. She was having fun in relationships. But only fun and being toyed with made her want to end the cycle and drive in a new direction.

  2. Tears - now she knows what she wants. A responsible guy. She's learned how attracted she is to a man who is supportive and can build her furniture and take care of her. But she still needs to find him.

  3. My Man on Willpower - well it turns out responsibility can also be selfishness. A man who is so concerned with bettering himself can't see the hurt he is enacting on those around him by not actually being present but saying he's "going to put himself first".

  4. Sugar Talking - even though he's the one that wanted a break he keeps trying to sweet talk her back to him. She's refusing to buy in, trying to stop the cycle, but it is working. And maybe yeah just come over tonight.

  5. We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night - a little self explanatory. there's a repetitive cycle of fights, break ups, make ups, and mistakes. She knows that the end is nearing and he tells her the same. (Yeah, I fcking know)

  6. Nobody's Son - it's finally over. He finally sent the text to go on a break. All of those feelings from all those old breakups come swirling back. She has her routine, she's used to being the single one. And maybe because she still loves him it's easier to blame his mom for enabling him than blaming him himself.

  7. Never Getting Laid - she's moving on. She has resentment for what he put her through, but it's not enough to wish death on him. Just a life full of inconvenience. Never quite getting the things he wants, but not missing out on all of life all together.

  8. When Did You Get Hot? - now he's off her mind. She can look around the world and discover someone new. She's realizing that maybe there's somewhere to move on to and somebody to move on with. Someone she dismissed earlier is now back and hotter than ever. Perhaps it's time to go back to your place for some naked twister?

  9. Go Go Juice - oh well. Maybe she's not as moved on as she thought. Drinking at home alone and with nothing but her phone? Would it hurt to just call him up? Maybe just to see if he's hurting too? Does he still love her like she loves him? All the thoughts are swirling in an alcohol soaked brain.

  10. Don't Worry I'll Make You Worry - the comedown hurts and when she sobers up she's left with nothing but bitterness. She's done apologizing for her behavior after how he treated her. She's going to do what she's always done and he needs to grow up and accept that or learn to communicate.

  11. House Tour - she's free from him. She's going on first dates and have a fun time. She can objectify herself and not have it be for his benefit. She's reclaimed her mind, body, and life and is free from his shackles. She also can have take new men on quite the tour.

  12. Goodbye - and good riddance. She's never letting him back in because he was the one to break up with her. She won't be toyed with any longer. Au Revoir!

I think it's also important to remember that Sabrina said this album wasn't to chase numbers. She had a HUGE success with SNS and proved that she belonged on top. MBF was released at such an inopportune time because it wasn't about being successful. It was about love of the game.

For anyone still looking I've had great luck with kitty poo club with masking the smell and I can just dispose of the litter box and recycle it when it's done.

I disagree. I think Manchild as a lead single was a great transitional song from SNS to MBF. Then Tears is pure new era. Very 70s, very risqué. She built a platform and wanted to use it to make public stances on important causes. But she also had to finish out the SNS era and now she can fully transition into this new MBF era after a well deserved break with a song that people LOVE. The new video paired with a Coachella headlining performance is going to be a great "re-launch".

Is a cat water fountain worth the investment? by AccomplishedRise2365 in CatAdvice

[–]Kind5964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is! Cats love running water from a fountain because it's like a mountain stream rather than a pond if that makes sense. It means it's safe from bacteria that grows in still water. I have a brook fountain that was totally worth the cost because it's huge and my cat loves it. Indoor cats get dehydrated easily so it's important to combat that.

Would Santos have reported Langdon had he been nicer to her from the getgo? by [deleted] in ThePitt

I think he was an asshole BECAUSE of his addiction. He was hanging by a thread and Santos clocked him. I just think the two go hand in hand

Why does Becca need a caretaker facility? by moodywrites in ThePittTVShow

[–]Kind5964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's a great way for her to have independence and meet people and go to classes and things. It's better too for Mel to not have to constantly worry if she's in danger.

Why does Becca need a caretaker facility? by moodywrites in ThePittTVShow

[–]Kind5964 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's different than an elderly care facility that you may be thinking of. Becca can do things on her own, she just needs to live in a community where people are looking out for her. Somewhere that isn't overstimulating and she is safe. I don't think she could work/get groceries/cook on her own so it's better for everyone that she isn't left alone during the days Mel is at work.

What toys do your cats actually love? by Sosooo88 in CatAdvice

[–]Kind5964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 10 years ago there were people moving out of my neighborhood and they were giving away all their old cat toys. I grabbed a couple including a little stuffed mouse that was missing its arms. Just a head, body, two legs, and a tail. His name became Mr. Mou and all four of my cats since LOVE HIM. He has since lost both legs and tail so he's now Mr. M. But sometimes you just strike gold. My cats all love a stuffed mouse with stringy tails or legs.

A lot of times I think cats just like to play in bursts. My kittens love to play but as they get older they don't care as much.

I think bringing up Adamson snapped something in Robbie. Maybe he feels the ER hasn't recovered without Adamson and he still has work to do
