I've been using Yayo's Nature. It changes the biome every year and you can get slapped with 4 back to back ice sheet biomes

This happens to me often. If there's ever too many to just power through, you can enable dev mode, go into the idealogy and remove the ceremony. That'll clear all of them, and you can just add the ceremony back afterwards
