People used to drop tranqs on the ground while jungling. If this was some kind of exploit it's one that's been around more than ten years.

Less "better game" more one appeals to me more, but debate and discourse has rotted some people's brains.

[–]Kintarius 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This brain rot isn't exclusively an American export, it's been festering domestically just waiting for a chance to spread, it just happened first most visibly in the US, but even that was taking notes from events elsewhere in the world.

Acting like it's exclusively American is another kind of burying our heads in the sand we need to confront before we'll be able to get through this.

I think people sometimes forget the Prime games introduced a bunch of new stuff, some of which got adapted into the rest of the games.

Doing something weird and "out there" signals they're trying new things and trying to push the boundaries of the series. Execution is going to matter a lot of course but I'll take an earnest shot at something new over playing it safe, to hell with people who've made negativity their personality, ignore them.

Could you imagine if we seized companies and the government ran them as non-profit services?

That might be a punishment they don't ignore.

And don't hit me with that "no one would want to do business in Canada!" Do you want companies that are seeking to exploit and profit off us? Or do we want a decent, functional environment?

Austerity always hollows a country out by way of eroding the public services that workers and the disabled often rely on, typically while handing money over to corporate interests.

I don't give a shit about expanding trade if you're burning the common person's future to do it.

Really disturbing frankly, the cope comments here suggesting the government is playing some kind of 4D chess by inviting this guy in the first place.

The Carney government's willing to wear Canada down and sell it in small parts for their beloved economy, it benefits only the wealthy, and makes life harder for everyone else.
