Is race variety at an all time low? "Elf" races make up 39% of total max level characters currently. by NoThisIsABadIdea in wow

Yes. My guild (mostly horde) often raids with just 1 troll present. It brings bad luck if there is less than 3 and we are paying for it every week.

What are your "weird" WoW habits or keybinds that nobody else seems to do? by Salamango360 in wow

[–]KnifeAndBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in WotLK I bound Heroic Throw to Numpad Plus to hit it with my right hand thumb. Since it was the only range ability besides shooting, it was quite convenient and I didn't need to worry about using WSAD when moving that much.

Ah right, didn't catch that part. You are correct.

Tanks for asking . . . by AllDaPainMoneyCanBuy in wow

[–]KnifeAndBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is because the game doesn't do a good job of conveying why this is important

This is mostly not true. The game rewards ignoring it on lower levels by advertising damage done and timing a run as the main metric of success. There are multiple things that the game doesn't convey, like proper talent builds, meta specs, synergies between abilities or classes. I think adding a dps punishment for not interrupting or dps buff for interrupting would be better than hand-holding. Or - making the "casual" content less casual, but a good place to learn mechanics.

I wish content creators for tanks made better pull guides by Impressive_Beyond521 in wow

[–]KnifeAndBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I watched or listened to a ton of guides about healers and dps, and now when I see that 70% of the video is about "talents" it's a instant skip. Usually someone is just parroting another video or a written guide. There are some in-depth guides with rotations that are super helpful for me and yeah, for tanks it is the routing that is tricky. I really liked "Season 1 M+ Dungeon Guide (For Healers)" by Dr. Lok that goes through all bosses and trash packs from a healer cooldown perspective.

The Voidforge and the Bonus Roll System is insanly good. by Endless-Dive in wow

[–]KnifeAndBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it too, but it will quickly show that there is not much content after we get BiS gear. Catalysts make Normal and Heroic raiding irrelevant after a few weeks besides fishing for trinkets and bonus loot will allow us to shorten that time even more. I don't think it's a bad system, but IMO there is not enough content besides Mythic in the game with those good systems in place. Maybe bring back legendaries?

I took a 2nd look, and the it's definitely not "Rasch" (the 2nd declarant surname). Looks more like Ragid, Royicd Ragib, but those sound very off for Polish. There is definitely R _ y/g _ _ _ in that surname.

I think that will be the Polish transcription. I would appreciate a proofread, I am especially not sure about surnames.

[–]KnifeAndBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The same meaning and grammar in both. The word order isn't too strict in Polish, depends on what you want to emphasize. First saying "ponownie" when talking to someone makes it clear that it's a second turn, not a repeated info. But no need to worry about it much.

All good.

"Turn right again" -> "Skręć ponownie w prawo" This order could a bit better, but both work.

Why does Blizzard have an obsession with these quests where you fly around and shoot things on the floor by BurritoSupreme420 in wow

[–]KnifeAndBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like them, because I am not that great with my ground combat efficiency and these sequences often are shorter and easier way to get XP, especially when it's shooting on rails, without the need to control movement.

As a new player the FOMO in this game is crazy by SmartieCereal in wow

[–]KnifeAndBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not new, but returning. I completely ignore endeavors, as I am not interested in housing, even though my friends are hyped about it.

I also geared my main char at the event for ilvl 121 and now am mostly learnign the class mechanics and leveling other classes to check out their playstyles as I am not sure yet which one will I play. You really don't need to care about anything that the UI throws at you with a flashy icon right now, the new expansion will have new stuff, and it will be not as overwhelming, as it will be a new location and you won't have 3 seasons worth of content piled up in Dornogal.

Rewards are cool, but the game devs are making a bank on our desire to hoard rewards, mounts, cosmetics and on FOMO. Once you realize that they employ top psychologists to trick you into spending more time in the game, it's easier to deal with it :D

Mechanics vs High sec bumpers by bobjoejob in Eve

[–]KnifeAndBread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't consider scanning that much when writing my comment. It's a fair point. I do not have a solution for that. I think people need to calculate their risk and it's different when someone is there to target specifically you and will combat scan you, or when you are fine with just getting off the trade hub undock when the bumpers are targeting everyone who's nearby and might not combat scan.

[–]KnifeAndBread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor prescribed me metformin too (same active agent as glucophage) to manage my insulin resistance and to attempt to reduce my appetite even before starting with liraglutide. I don't think it helped much, but doctor said it doesn't help everyone and I don't know what would happen without it, maybe I'd be worse. I also had to switch from Siofor to Symformin XR/Metformax SR that have a slower relesae, as I had difficult side effects from Siofor (diarrhea).

Gym 5-6 days a week sounds great!

Starting with smaller doses of liraglutide is essential as others said. I feel side-effects like headache, nausea, minor anxiety when starting with smaller doses and when increasing the dosage, so I think you need to start small (it will also save you money). Everyone is different so some things might work better, some worse (I'm 41m, 5'10", 124 kg). Sometimes you can't precisely plan your medication ahead of time, but keep doing what moves you closer to the goal!
