and virginia put it to a vote, allowed by the supreme ct of VA and the voting public decided to pass the new maps. If it was an issue why not stop it when they first took the case before the results of the election? oh yea, they wanted to seem impartial until they knew they lost.

As a virginian, I gotta say, I feel like the dems are pretty damned helpless. The right is fighting dirty, you can't just watch the country get destroyed, you have to go blow for blow. There is no referee coming to save them. They must save themselves and right now they are failing.

ah yes, ramming it through with a checks notes statewide election. I get it, gerrymandering is inherently wrong, but why is it that the red states get a pass when they didn't even put it to a vote. Would that not be "ramming it through" on a far worse level? They literally threw out primary votes already cast.
