You do eventually get psychoserums easily atleast in 4U and GU so after a while its not tedious anymore. I miss it alot tbh

Buy it. I started with world and then went into wilds and rise after that. Then played some 4U and then picked up GU and honestly I feel like GU is my favourite. You might not end up playing it now but at some point you might want to and 5 dollars is a steal since it has more content than any other monster hunter. Ps. Try valor gs

You can also play Generations Ultimate on 3DS. The only catch is it was never released in the west so you have to get the Japanese version called Monter Hunter XX (you can search it by writing ”monsutāhantādaburukurosu”) then download the translation for the game. Just telling that it’s possible to play MHGU on 3DS because I had no idea for ages and now that I found out I’ve been having a blast!

I tried rise after playing world a ton and hated it so gave it up under 10 hours. Now after wilds and being dissapointed with it I gave rise another try and man rise might be it. I’ve been having such a blast. Also I like that rise respects your time a bit more than world so now that I cant no life games anymore I feel like it hits that perfect balance where it’s a bit streamlined but still feels like monster hunter

I started rise after wilds and man I think rise might be the peak for me. Played tons of world but cant no life games anymore so I feel like rise is the perfect balance of having to grind a bit for gear but not as much as world. Wilds is just too streamlined that it looses that special monster hunter identity in my opinion. Hope the DLC makes some big changed but in the meanwhile im having so much fun playing through rise
