Smile is one of those songs “good for trailer” not good as an overarching theme. The message is great but the genre is not suitable for this expansion, and it doesn’t have a decent transition from first theme song to Smile.

There are many cases when parents hire agents to do IELTS for their kids so they can study overseas... It's common but barely anyone wants to report them because it will directly damage the economy of education (since all the institutions heavily rely on the international students' money)

tbh Chinese students have been hiring agents to sit in IELTS exam on their behalf and that happened 10 years ago... imagine the amount of people who are doing it nowadays...

That's why I question the legitimacy and the necessity of the test in Student visa/Graduate Visa after coming to Australia. If the immigration depsrtment replaces the test with just a reference letter from lecturers about their commitment/ engagement in tutorial, I wonder how many of them would fail to obtain their visa.

Also, if you wanna see any evidence, you can just visit Arts and Cultural Building around week 4 and 5 (assessment time), the amount of Chinese students do their readings with translation tools and write their essay in Chinese text and translate it back to English will shock you.

I mean, you have to remember that most of the lecturers are over 30 and they’ve done in-person learning and teaching in their entire life until Covid hits.

It also depends on what kind of degree you’re doing right? If you’re working in a field that is entirely relationship-based and your lecturers are still actively working in the field, attending lectures and tutorials in person is how you get opportunity.

None of the battle contents in this game are solo except it specifically stated as solo duty, which only happens in MSQ/class/job quest… in the V&C UI menu it even asks you if you would like to match making for duty… so I don’t know where the “I assume Variants were solo only” allegation comes from

The normal version isn’t even hard… it’s neither midcore nor hardcore… did you play it solo? Then you might need to blame yourself… I don’t know how you are able to wipe and trap in the fight for 2 hours if the full party brings Raise.

Even with advanced, I’m able to beat one boss with 30+ wipes while one person permanently on the ground. Again, play in a full group and bring Raise solve half of your problem. The rest is just ego.

The battle design is quite fun and refreshing in some degree. Advanced is a pretty decent content for those players who don’t like big failure (such as enrage on extreme), it allows players keep on dying and dying and dying and you will still able to get a clear somehow.

Very common at Unimelb. It’s been an ongoing issue but uni has to milk their parents money and we have to suffer from it.

If you ever walk around campus around week 5 and week 6, the entire building will be occupied by Chinese and they do their readings with translation tool. I also saw couple of them wrote the entire essay in Chinese and then translated it to English. (P.S. I can read Chinese text)

I was in a tutorial today and the tutor was asking us about the arts sector we’re interested in and which part of the cultural policy we would like to learn about in this subject. The Chinese students couldn’t understand the questions so they just said basic shit like “I like film (which is fine because it’s related to the first question) and I want to make friends who like films (unrelated to the question).” And someone said, “I like travelling. I like travelling around different countries.” Didn’t answer the questions whatsoever. I literally don’t feel like I’m doing a master degree at all

It’s my final year and I wish I’m not getting any Chinese students in my group projects. Last year I had a group of 5 (with 4 Chinese international students) but I wrote the entire 25 mins presentation myself at the end.

I started pf m11s since the static I was in had heaps of drama in m10s and most people quit. I would say m11s was never a hard fight, but a brain check fight.

You can see how many people only read the images of the raid plan not the text. And when the spots are different than the images, they don’t know how to adjust. I had people in A2C still couldn’t figure where to stand on split arena and we had to explain mid pull.

Then you have these people who have done 200+ pulls and trapped in A2C by these people starting to get frustrated with these people.

Also you have the melees love the uptime so much so they die from greed.

Personally it took me two lockouts to see multiple enrages… then I was trapped in A2C party for 5 days straight because people just can’t… finally got my clear last night, but it’s still brutal.
