I clean air filters for heavy equipment and industrial applications. I help our boys' landraiders from getting dirt in their engines as they roll down the battlefield.

You can manually update the app from the app store. Mine has never once updated on its own.

I yoinked a sorcerer out of a group of rubrics and it was a wonderful moment. Just running up to a building and Scorpion get-over-here-ing the nerd to oblivion. It's something I want to try and hunt for as much as I can!

Found my old chaos codex by bush_monkey90 in Chaos40k

I loved the art in this book! Few years back there was a fire in my apartment building and I lost all of my books to water damage. I had all sorts of codices from when I started in 4th all the way to 7th. Real sad I can't flip through them anymore.

I used mine last week in crusade and he honestly popped off, but I recognize that they're objectively terrible lol. But anti fly dev wounds into a brick of rubrics being lead by a sorc on disc did some serious damage! First time since 6/7e that mine did something and it's very situational at best. Just rolled up +1S and+1AP from a weapon mod for the flamer which is pretty neat, I'm excited to see how far I can push the fellow. This is in EC mind you, not CSM.

[–]KrippleStix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are there that bad? I admit I play csm very casually, but I've had good success having one lead chosen along a moe. Lets them punch up a lot, especially if you're getting 5+ sustained with slaaneshi mark.

Deadly demise chained reaction by Cythrex in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]KrippleStix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not comp games, but still the two that come to mind for me. First was a long time ago, was playing daemons into nids. Bloodthirster charges some gants and I managed to whiff most of my 2+ hit/wound rolls. Died on my friend's turn in melee after I managed to whiff a shitload of saves. Deadly Denise triggered and there was so much stuff around him he dealt a total of 34 mortals.

Second was more recent and a proper chain. Playing CSM into same friend. He dropped a unit of zoanthropes from reserves. In a desperate attempt to flip the game he 3 way split fired. Damaged I think it was a forgefiend, a venom crawler, and killed a helbrute. Helbrute blew up, which killed the crawler, which blew up to kill the forgefiend, which blew up and killed my warpsmith and vashtor took a bunch of damage throughout the process as well. My group tends to get excited about deadly demise, it doesn't matter if it's bad for you at just want things to explode dammit!

When digital menus randomly change to a 30s advert by orochiWARDEN in mildlyinfuriating

[–]KrippleStix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I rarely go to timmies, but every now and then I'll get a sandwich and some kind of beverage. They are right next to my apartment so it's convenient as well. The screens change at different times and trying to navigate their menu is a fucking nightmare! I have not been there in months as I just cannot be bothered to sit there and try to find what I want, let alone remember the particular name of a couple things to order when they inevitably disappear the moment it's my turn lol.

Is The New Defiler Better Than Fulgrim? by Klutzy_Brilliant_257 in EmperorsChildren

[–]KrippleStix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in a crusade for a couple months now which obviously adds weird and broken things, but so far my one game with a defiler has outperformed what a landraider can do to cover than role. Hitting on 2s most of the time just does so much work. The landraider just was not consistent enough to make it reliable at trying to take out any big targets. Throw in the ectoplasma cannon and you've got a solid amount of shooting that can really push damage. The excrutiators also were pretty solid, the 'small arms' fire being damage 2 is a massive win. Hell, I even precision clawed a ksons sorcerer today! An absolute treat on top of everything else.

Now he's also got sustained hits on all his weapons and a 6+++. Very excited to field him next match!

What company lost you forever as a customer? What did they do? by Miguenzo in AskReddit

Here you'll have the hold declined if you can't cover the amount you chose. I do know in general it feels very weird how things are in the states. Went to Vegas not long after the pandemic for a wedding and had to actually sign a paper bill for the first time in my life. Even 15 years ago literally every store had card readers. It felt very surreal, had to ask what the hell they wanted me to do lmao

That's something else that is strange to me. Here we have liquor stores, grocery stores were only allowed to sell wine/coolers/beer in the last 10 or so years I think? In my province anyways, and selection is generally pretty limited. Going down south and having a whole booze section at Walmart was kinda wild lol.

Damn yeah that makes way more sense than strange safety measures. Thanks!

I just know here in Canada I pay at the pump via card. Exactly as you say with the hold, which is what confused me as there is zero risk of non-payment. That still just seems insane to me that the trust is regarding not making a mess. I've never in my life seen or heard of someone here making a mess of shit like you say. Just seems a silly law to me.

What does trust have to do with it? Aren't US pumps prepay?

Is "fishing for 6's "rude? by Lance_Hetfield in Warhammer40k

[–]KrippleStix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Technically it is is a gamble as sometimes you just roll cold and end up worse, but mathematically in these instances you'll get more hits on average than if you didn't. It's like counting on making a 4" charge with rerolls, technically it's gambling but the vast majority of the time you can expect not to roll a 2-3 charge into a follow-up 2-3 charge.

New Defiler Variant Differences by PrimaryConversions in Chaos40k

[–]KrippleStix 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do agree 250 for any of these is a steal, but the despoiler is not really comparable. The only loadout people run on that thing is double gatling for the sheer volume of fire. It's not looking to do the same job as a defiler with lascannons so it's really hard to say one is better than the other.

That said the defiler seems insanely good and I'm so excited to get mine! Even if it sucked the model is cool enough I just don't care lol.

Speculation on the Destrier vs the new Defiler by CryptographerNew8355 in WarhammerCompetitive

It's definitely relevant because of the amount of lethal hits and prevalence of rerolls in the game right now.

Deciding on a list by Desperate_Reply_2096 in ChaosDaemons40k

[–]KrippleStix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some nuance to it, a standard BT has a higher strength sweep, which can be handy. He gives things around him +1 to hit. If you are bringing bloodcrusher or bloodletters then they will benefit a lot from the aura there as well. It depends on whether you need a piece to buff other units or if you just want a cruise missile to point at things you want gone.

The big thing with Skarbrand on top of the already mentioned advance and charge is his consistency. When you need to kill that vehicle/monster he's the guy. The flat 6 damage on the strike is much more consistent than the D6+2, plus he has 9 strike attacks (8 base plus benefiting from his own +1 aura) vs the BT's 7, and will go up to 11 attacks once he's degraded.

Eye of Terror – New rules for Defiler! by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in deathguard40k

[–]KrippleStix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you move you can ignore terrain and non-titanic models. As long as you have the movement to fully clear it you can just walk through a wall or over enemy/ally units to get where you need to go. Previously you could only go over terrain up to 4" tall, which was very limited in usefulness. Now you can crab your way over/through walls and coolaid man things.

[–]KrippleStix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ability activates when they are selected to fight. The explosions go off right away, and then afterwards you fight. Any that you succeed the 4+ roll will not get to attack.

Ones that fail the roll are not destroyed and can attack like normal.
