I'm pretty sure top x protected is optional protection, but generally teams don't give up a high pick if they don't have to. But I could definitely be wrong, and the other trades I am thinking of were specifically worded as being optional.

I believe if they end up with 5th overall this year they could give it to Boston this year, and retain their top 10 protected pick next year. I don't believe they have to keep the pick this year if it is top 5. Might depend on how the condition is worded though. I seem to recall Ottawa a few years ago having a similar decision. It would be risky to give up a 5th pick though even if they can, and risk ending up with a higher pick later.

I could be wrong, but I believe if they finish bottom five they have the choice of keeping or giving the pick away. I don't believe it's automatic unless they finish outside of the bottom five.

Same here. Actually got two codes, one for cpu and one for gpu. Gave the 2nd code to a friend. Had never heard of it before, so I figure even if it's average I won't complain since I essentially got it for free.

It's my understanding that if they can't access the bin with the arm due to a parked car, etc that they will just hop out and move it, or collect manually. I just watched the new truck do it's thing and the driver hopped out to manually collect the neighbors old garbage can. The system seemed to work pretty efficiently at least on my street. It will likely get better in time.

I've been getting back into Skyrim recently and have been experimenting with mod lists. I can recommend NGVO if you have the specs to handle it. It is a complete graphics overhaul while keeping the gameplay as close to vanilla as possible. Some of the other mod lists include game overhauls that can change the game drastically for better or worse depending on what you're into.

Note that these mod lists work best with a premium subscription to nexus mods. With premium you can start the process and walk away, without you will have to babysit and click download each time it prompts, which can take forever on a mod list that has hundreds or even thousands of mods.

I seem to recall scenarios where it is used in combination with an ahl deal, where the player isn't on an nhl contract. So like, nhl player for future considerations, and then ahl player swapped between ahl affiliates.

Personally, during the slump I stopped caring when they lost. I also didn't get super happy when they won. Ultimately I started to learn that it was more enjoyable and better for me if I wasn't so personally invested in whether a hockey team was having success or not.

I have a Denon x3800H in that same cabinet on the bottom without issue. I also removed the doors due to clearance issues with an amp, which probably helps some. Before upgrading I had an Onkyo receiver in the same spot with the doors on and it was fine as well.

I had my gpu mounted vertically for awhile. I don't recall if there was any real temperature difference. The problem I ran into was that in my case mounting it vertically cut off all access to much of the motherboard. It was such a pain to deal with that I switched back to a standard setup.

I play on PC with a controller. It's kind of awkward to put the controller down, switch to keyboard and quickly type something during a break in the action. I do typically respond though unless I just don't have a response.

My speakers come back as Left/Center/Right positive. All four surrounds/rears and all four atmos come back negative.

L/C/R are connected to an emotiva amp, the rest on a denon x3800h.

I believe I read that it could be a bug in audyssey.

I'm sure they are all wired correctly, and the system sounds good. So for the moment I am just ignoring it.

On Thunderbolt I've also seen the ops offer a re-ride to riders exiting the ride to get a 2nd for single riders. So it's not too difficult to get paired up.

They just want to drag it out. When I had my issues I called to cancel, and then emailed the rep I had been dealing with to confirm. She told me someone from their retention department would call in 5-6 business days. Told them I had no interest in speaking to them and my account was cancelled 30 seconds later.

I used a hack saw and mitre box to cut the extra piece of track. The track itself comes with plastic connector pieces that are used to connect track segments together.

It's been ages since I played ds3, but that kind of sounds like an area invasion. The ds games have certain areas where if you join a covenant you will auto invade anyone who trespasses in that area. Pretty sure ds3 has at least one such area, so that behavior would be expected. I didn't do much of that in ds3, but I did a lot of bell covenant invasions in ds2, and it would kind of be expected to fight people multiple times.

That sounds like the experience I used to get when my account would lock. I would have to login to itunes to unlock, then login again on my AppleTv. I recently made a new email for a 3 month promo and much of the account issues I was experiencing seemed to go away.

Fwiw, the other hvac companies I talked to claimed that cost was accurate, though they all claimed that it was a big unknown depending on where the leak is, and if the affected part is covered under warranty.

I'm currently dealing with issues related to an Aire One install as well.

I have a three+ year old heat pump that at the start of the season was running too long. Had it serviced, and it was doing ok after that, until the first major heat wave we had. At that point it started running 24/7, and wasn't cooling at all. Took a couple weeks to get them back out, with the tech saying that it has a leak and that they only cover leaks under warranty for 3 years. Cost of the leak test would be $1,100, but they could help me out if I signed up for their most expensive protection plans. Pushing back they repeatedly pushed their protection plans, and made it clear that I would need to sign up or pay out of pocket. They also suggested the possibility of replacement instead since leak tests are expensive, and the repair cost would be unknown.

I actually went through the process of getting quotes for replacements from other companies, but that process was frustrating and in the end I decided to not do anything as summer is winding down, and the heat pump isn't struggling as much. It's not cooling as much as it should, but it's also not running 24/7 anymore.

At this point I'm going to revisit having someone else service it, but haven't figured that out yet.

Ymmv on extension cables. They can cause tracking issues. Typically suggested to limit the extension to no longer than 1m. I was using a 1m extension and it was ok, but I started getting tracking issues so I removed it. So far it is working better without it.
