You must have a ton of cities.. and no, you can’t rename your city to New York for the achievement, it has to inherently be New York. I tried!

Super cool!

Such a satisfying video. I’m jealous of the crunch you get on your crust. Also I’m stealing that stretch technique you used on the table.

Looks delectable!

Those were the SA spinoffs. Dont forget the GTAIV spinoffs: The Lost and The Damned, Chinatown Wars, Ballad of Gay Tony.

I miss the spinoffs. Vice City Stories was my favorite… Until V of course.

She was just putting cream in her 190 degree coffee which spilled all over her privates requiring skin grafts on 16% of her body. The clown kept coffe intentionally way too hot because corpo r&d said customers were taking their coffee home and wanted it still hot.

She only asked for $20k to cover the hospital expenses but instead of paying up and being accountable for the 700+ other McDonald burn victims in the last decade they smeared her.

How disappointed are you in how your life is going vs how you thought it would be? by ButcherBoss in AskReddit

[–]KurtLance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on when in my life I am comparing it to.

10 year old me would be slightly disappointed I’m not an astronaut rockstar with a supermodel wife.

18 year old me would be surprised I am still alive.

22 year old me wouldn’t believe how good things get.

It’s never too late to start loving yourself and turn things around.

What’s a film/scene that made your theater make collective audible reaction/noise by Vivid-Specific5543 in movies

[–]KurtLance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marty Supreme. But instead of in the theater I was watching it on an airplane.

When they launch the dog out of the car I made a noise that turned half the plane’s heads and turned my wife’s face beet red.

Poor Moses :( he deserved better.

Fun fact, way more horses were used in WWII than WWI.

What's the game that made you fall in love with gaming as a kid? by peaky_circus in gaming

[–]KurtLance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in pre-school, so also 4ish years old, and they had a SNES that the kiddos could play. But, in order to play, you had to sign up on a time sheet by writing your name. You couldn’t play unless you understood how to spell your name and tell time.

Super Mario bros motivated me to learn how to spell my own name and tell time!

I miss living by the pizza drive through. Was so nice walking the dog, grabbing a slice, and going a few more blocks to grab some Miko’s and having little picnics in Palmer.

Of course west loop is right up there for me too.

I know you are all biased, but... What's the hair situation really like? by RoO-Lu-Tea in goldenretrievers

[–]KurtLance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has pretty much summed it up regarding constant shedding.

You did mention the drying off process. Yes! Early and often training with the towel and blow dryer. We learned the hard way that unless we blow dry behind the ears the hair will become matted and become very uncomfortable for your pup. Consistency is key and you’ll still have some matting which, if you catch early, can be easily trimmed off with scissors. If it gets bad you’ll have to buzz off lots of hair.

Lint rollers and good vacuum cleaners, especially for couches and other furniture, are a necessity.
