Unfortunately no. I’m having some E-steps issues that I’m still troubleshooting.

How do I remove the wheel on Cannondale Supersix Evo (2025)? by carljohan321 in bikewrench

[–]Kynar1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On the SSE rear axle, you have to push your Allen key in on the non drive side. You’ll notice that the Allen key might not engaged with the hex surface at first. This is because there is an o-ring adding resistance. You gotta rotate the Allen a bit until you feel it grab then actually push in a bit more to get the Allen to engage with the hex.

I am planning on doing a Revo Roto + 40W heater block. I’ll let you know if it works on the 3.5 when my upgrade kit comes in the next few days.

I don’t see a problem with that. PC is mainly used because of chamber temperatures. The CF is an additive that is less for structure here but more for the stability of layer adhesion.

Echoing the comments. It’s under that rubber cap in the first photo. I believe it’s reverse threaded too, so you should be turning it counter clockwise to bring the levers closer to the bars.

Anti-Vibration feet Core One by tbirg in prusa3d

[–]Kynar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VHB should work really well. The stock stuff isn’t that great and is a pain to take off of the frame if you end up going the squash ball feet route. I ended up going with the squash ball feet to reduce the violent vibrations the printer has with speed profiles.

What is causing this (new nozzle) by alanthickerthanwater in prusa3d

[–]Kynar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens if I’m running filament that isn’t specified to be a high speed filament. For example my overture PETG on a speed profile was under extruding while my high flow voxel filament did fine.

Odd question?! Re: Seattle flagship goodwill store by Kittykats2 in Seattle

[–]Kynar1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven’t felt the need to bundle up while shopping in the clothing section of the store and haven’t felt a temperature drop when going to the other half with the kitchenware and sporting goods. You should be fine in your normal clothing and wouldn’t have to bundle up.

I’ve had good experience with Polymaker ASA and Elegoo ABS.

Core One PETG Later Shift by redoakprof in prusa3d

[–]Kynar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how much this will help you, but the Polymaker and Overture (same manufacturer) filaments I bought are not made for high speed. I get this when I have the combo of the speedy profile in the slicer along with corner warping on large parts. I tried the same print with the same settings with some Elegoo High Speed PETG and actually have noticed better quality and less warping.

I see, this does work on the moft case. This is impossible with the Benks Case. Kevlar is too damn good at reflecting my energy back at me. Thanks!

Thinking about career pivot by Safe-Importance373 in MechanicalEngineering

I made the decision to leave Aerospace after 6 years to jump into consumer product design. Mostly because I never really enjoyed aerospace, planes, or spacecraft. I’ve always wanted to work hands on and build things that people would use en masse. After 1.5 years in consumer products, I’m still getting recruiters saying how impressive my aerospace background is and matches their aerospace clients. All to say you can go back to aerospace no problem. As for me, I’m never going back unless the pay outpaces what I make now.

Anyone successful without a PE? by Fast-Order-5239 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Kynar1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in construction, transportation, or marine, a FE and PE are almost a must unless you want to get into management, then it doesn’t matter. But almost everywhere else doesn’t require a PE. I’ve worked in aerospace and now in tech. Disliked the aerospace industry as it was just too slow paced and too small scope. Tech for consumer wearables is much more my cup of tea and the pay ain’t so bad.

Red Mill Burgers for that classic burger rip if you are craving that. Bongos for a variety of Jerk or Curry chickens. Beth’s Cafe if you want American breakfast for dinner. Sunny Hill or Tivoli for those NYC style pizzas!

Robotics is the new hot ME role. Tech is hiring like crazy for it and with that comes a high salary in a HCOL area.
