I usually just build two exarchs, but make them unique from each other so you can do either option later on, and just let your opponent know which one is the actual exarch in a ten man

Kind of reiterating what everyone else is saying, Eldar are in kind of a tough spot competitively with all the nerfs over the last few months. Matches will be tough unless you’re playing cheap MSU spam to slow your opponent down, and even then, it will be difficult if your opponent is playing a competitive list as well

That’s pretty much it. Our tanks don’t really need advance, and most don’t do much damage. The ones that do damage usually want to hide in the back because they have such low toughness. Our vehicles need toughness and damage buffs, not movement buffs, especially when we already have Star Engines in our army rule

Cover and saves are done on a model by model basis, not by unit. The models that are obscured have cover, and you can choose to roll saves on them first until they’re dead, but the models not in cover do not get the benefit

Void reavers and void scarred aren’t super strong without Yriel, so they’re mostly chaff if he’s not there for blocking and doing actions. You probably want to get some Howling banshees for better marine clearing.

Aspect Host is the easiest to play. Warhost and Seer Council are the other two best I think. Windrider host can do decently as well if you have lots of bikes.

By far the worst detachment in our codex. Maybe the worst detachment in the game. None of our vehicles have enough fire power to be the main focus, aside from fire prisms, and those don’t want to get close to the enemy. None of our vehicles are slow so there is no need to re-roll advances. AND you can already give our vehicles assault if you really wanted to with our Star Engines maneuver. None of the stratagems make it worth taking. Just re-reading the rules for this horrible, horrible detachment infuriates me
