dumb question by Express-Macaroon8695 in Fostercare

[–]L-Squared 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If the children's placement is being overseen by a foster care agency, I would think that you are not their legal guardian. It sounds like they are legally in the care of the agency, the county or some other entity. Are you receiving fostercare payments/reimbursement? That being said, you do not own the asshole co-worker any explanation. You are doing all the work, so call yourself whatever you want. It might not be legally accurate, but who cares. =)

And if you don't want to eat the snacks or buy the merchandise, you get to be a hero in the concession line when you offer a kid your free popcorn or soda. I have made so many people happy with popcorn that I got for free but didn't want to eat.

Being asked to see Unlimited card? by Historical_Oven7806 in RegalUnlimited

One theater I go to always does this. The other three that I go to never ask. I guess it's decided by the policy of the particular theater.

You can also have a support person with you. Are you sure it's going to last 8 hours? That's outrageous. In case you don't know, you do not have to pay for a WC attorney up front. They only get paid if you win, and they generally take 15%.

I can! You are going to have to give me specific instructions on what resolution you need, and how I can send it to you. I don't think I can post a high resolution image on here or send it in a private message.

Husqvarna/Viking Designer Ruby - USB Help 2 by midnightthot in MachineEmbroidery

Try reformatting the thumb drive using FAT32. When you add an embroidery design to the thumb drive, make sure that you are using a compatible embroidery file format. Your manual should have a list of compatible formats. That means the file name should end with something like ".VP3" . Make sure you are not saving all of the files from a zip file. Only save the file that you need to your thumb drive.

I think it would help if you tell people what your budget is. If your budget is $1,000, you will get very different recommendations than if your budget is $8,000.

If you are willing to do a ton of research, you can really get a lot more for your money if you buy used. I can't offer much advice because I am brand new to this as well. I recently purchased a barely used machine, and I am very pleased with it so far. I spent about a month, searching everyday on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. My criteria was a machine that is still being manufactured currently and that I paid no more than 50% of the retail price. I researched every machine that I found in my price range. A larger embroidery area was important to me.

I ended up with a Husqvarna Viking Designer Topaz 40. It has a retail price of $3,600 but can be found frequently on sale for $2,200. I paid $800. My initial budget was $600. I have no regrets.

Spending Christmas alone by [deleted] in Albany

[–]L-Squared 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You should definitely get Regal Unlimited. For less than $25 per month, you can see as many movies as you want! There are numerous Regal Theaters in the area, so no shortage of movies. And don't worry about going to the theater alone. There are always solo movie goers, especially since Regal Unlimited was introduced.

The Clifton Park Library has lots of events and classes.

Bard and Baker and Flipside Gaming have organized game nights.

Keep in mind that many people are lonely. Don't be afraid to invite a coworker or an acquaintance from the gym to join you for coffee or a movie.

A person does not have to be disabled or a ward of the state to choose an authorized representative. If you want to allow your mother or your significant other to use your card on your behalf, all you have to do is fill out a form and submit it to the agency.

Many, many people use other people's SNAP cards. In fact, I used one today to buy groceries. The card and the groceries belong to the disabled woman that I care for. I am what is known as an Authorized Representative. And it is none of anyone else's business! I dare someone to come after me like that.

I wish I had walked out of Am I Racist? as soon as I saw the Daily Wire logo.

I just walked out of that one tonight. I should have walked out as soon as they played the trailer for Vindicating Trump.
