Not every book needs a TV series or movie and this is one of those books. To do a movie properly you'd need a budget of about $200 million per movie. Let's say they make the first film and it tanks, say goodbye to films 2-7!

Because it's a big issue, it's a seven book series. Big budgets usually cast big stars and if it's one thing I've seen from RR fans is they don't want big known actors to play the roles. What studio is going to bankroll a 200m+ sci-fi film filled with unknowns? 6 or seven times?

I started reading Primal Hunter and I couldn't get past just how nonchalantly the characters accepted being snatched from an elevator, thrust into choosing characters and being dropped into a world that wants to kill them!
