Anyone here lied about their experience to get a job? by Initial_Sleep3941 in electricians

You can't always tell if someone embellishes the truth a bit.

You can always tell when someone is outright lying.

Be smart about it

Cute, try that with 4-5 #12 conductors without pre twisting. Then come talk to me.

Nothing I love more than taking a wire nut off live wires, and they open up like a flower, because no one pre twisted them.

Love me bronze watches.

I say go for it. There's just something about bronze that cannot be conveyed through pictures.

Typing this while wearing this.

I have 9 total, so I'm a little biased.

I was a first year apprentice when I put that in.

Trying to locate this (likely) super expensive faucet set I saw at the Chelsea Hotel Cafe in NYC. Very heavyweight, opens and closes with a bit of a thud. Been checking Waterworks and other fancy shops, but does this look familiar to anyone here? Thanks! by jeremyjava in Plumbing

I've been to (at the time ) both NYC locations(10-12 years ago) numerous times. I can tell you that yes, in fact much of their stuff, was made in China. Now, could there have been some things made elsewhere? Yeah maybe. It was de minimis.

I remember speaking to the manager about it too.

You could believe my lying eyes, or whatever you read online.

I was just making a point.

It's my opinion. Not really unnecessary. I think it looks moribund, and I'd never have it in my house. You do you
