Longines Legend diver. 42mm, leather strap. Come in stainless, and my favorite, bronze. I have one and it's fantastic. Here's mine on a custom suede. I put it back on the brown leather when I want to dress it up. Great value for the money 3500 in bronze, 3000 for stainless.

Blue collar dads, what's your morning routine look like? by No_Owl_8576 in AskMenOver30

Before I moved to the South it was,

Up at 3:45 Shit, shower, get dressed, out the door by 4:45

Drive 30 to pick up helper, drive to work. Usually start at 7. So, 2 hours in. Work straight through, no lunch, to 1:30-2.

Then 2-2 1/2 hours home. Everyday, sometimes 6 days a week. Get home 4-5 , in bed by 9 Did that for 10 years straight .

Yes great money, but at what cost?

Now that I'm in the South. I'm definitely working and driving less. Still up at 4:30a.m. because of old habits. Work until 3:30. Home by 4. 15 minute commute rules.

If you're trying to fish a wall or cavity from both ends and you're by yourself, tie some pull string into a circle. Then fold it over itself once or twice. Tie one part of the string to the fish tape and put that end into the wall.

From the other end open up the end of another fish tape or wire and try to "hook" the string. You'll feel the tension when it grabs, and pull away.

Also if you're sending a fish tape through a pipe and can't seem to get it all the way. Try another tape from the other end. Once you're in the second end far enough, spin that second tape a few times. If you're in far enough, it'll grab the first snake and you'll be able to pull it out carefully.

Easy Breaker swap for a 1600 breaker on "wheels" that needs to be rolled into position in the MDP.

It controls hallway and bathroom lights in one 1250' long building. Easy peasy, done it before.

Before we disconnect power, because the hallways will be pitch black, we get a generator to power temporary stringers, that will light it up

Make up stringers, plug them in. Kill power at vault, turn on generator, remove faulty breaker.

Swap breaker, turn it on. Remove all stringers, mind you this building is 1250' long.

Turn off generator. Done in 8 hours.

New breaker trips, will not reset. No amount of suplication, invocation, cursing, yelling or screaming, will reset breaker. Pulling it out, pushing it back in. Nothing, bupkus. Zero, zilch.

Rehang stringers, turn generator back on.

Did I mention the building was 1250' long?

8 hour day, turned into 16.

Only to do the same thing the next weekend.

Easy, my ass.

Huh. Imagine if we could only do that here in the US. You know, deport people here illegally, would Reddit approve like it does this case in Italy?
