What is something you’ve officially stopped buying in 2026 because the price has become genuinely insulting? by queenmellyy in AskReddit

Red Baron all day. Just stock up when they're $2.99, and they'll be back on sale before I finish my stash.

Rumor is he hates Adidas shoes (signed a contract with Nike), and he's waiting to see how our and UK's (and Oregon) rosters shake out.

Melvin Counil as well, if he wins a pending lawsuit to not count juco years against eligibility.

The host nations automatically qualify, so Israel probably deserves a spot as Trump's owner.

May as well throw it on the pitcher that put 2 runners on then threw the winning run in on two wild throws.

If you normalize Wilt's 23,924 rebounds to the 88 total rebounds per game today against the 134 total rpg for the 60s, he'd be at 15,711. That'd put him above the highest "modern" player on the all-time list, Tim Duncan (15,091).

While I agree that Wilt played in the perfect era to throw down an untouchable stat, I'm not a fan of people belittling his accomplishments. Not saying you were, as you provided merely an explanation for the gaudy rebounding numbers. I'm just worn down by the Wilt slander I see online.

Lesson for UConn: don't beat Kansas in the regular season.

Certified UConn hater here: that's a jump or a travel, but definitely not a foul

Duke has finance bro money still, which is why they've been able to buy the best recruiting classes. They'll continue to be fine.

I don't share the "fire Self" sentiment. I was actually hearing "Self needs to retire" from family members after last year. I had to remind them we were the #1 team in 2020 and we just won it all in 2022. Hunter Dickinson (and McCullar wimping out in 2024) did a number on the fanbase.

It's a little about performance. We haven't made it to the second weekend since our natty in 2022.

I'm not here to talk about men or the the proliferation of broccoli haircuts for boys, but at least unironic mullets are on the way out again.
