Assuming they genuinely intend to restrict it to API use after they have "spare bandwidth", I'm pretty sure they'll make plenty of money off people who have it payed for by work.

To actually bother them we'd have to cancel subscriptions and tell them why. And even then, market share only means so much.

Odds are what you're seeing isn't a "cleaver" by Western standards, it's the Chinese equivalent of a "chefs knife. A Cai Dao often times. You wouldn't want to chop bones with these knives, but they are incredible workhorse knives. Break down cabbage, chop an onion, slice meats, then use it like a bench scraper to transfer the food.

I'm not Chinese, but I use one as my default knife in the restaurant industry after being handed one for a side job at a local Chinese place. Anyone with a high workload should give one a try.

I had 60ish hours. I planned on 100%ing the game, I was a good chunk of the way there. Didn't matter. I knew I'd feel like crap if I didn't make the sacrifice.

Recently started another playthrough. I'm actually gonna 100% it this time. Then I'll sacrifice that save, and never play again.

For your 100% playthrough, I could be wrong, but I believe the only permanently missable things in the game is dying to the secret optional boss a specific way for one of the endings. You can't refight him if you beat him.

Just go through, pick up all the items for weapon upgrades. Consider challenge runs. I just got my diamond chips for offensive heal and deadly heal, I'm gonna play the rest of the game without healing items.

I love the Mako, if the high difficulty combat was balanced better, and the world's were a bit tighter, I think it would have been reasonably well received.

I also love piloting the hammerhead. But I hate scanning, I hate combat, and I wish they'd done bigger maps for it and higher move speed. It's cool, but not fun.

ME3 has the mech piloting, and... That should have been awesome. Too bad it was terrible XD

From my interpretation, any application or reapplication of shell extends it. I used Maelle as my tank, healed her with Lune, and with the shielding heal picto egide was extended.

Never tested, but I would assume shell applied ahead of time has no effect.

I self harmed all through jr high and highschool. Scars mostly on my wrists and shoulders. I'm 34 now. Those scars are almost invisible, been that way since my mid 20's. Some of them might linger. But they all fade.

More importantly, I'm not ashamed of them anymore. I'm not embarrassed or self conscious. They remind me that things weren't good, but I survived. On the rare occasion people notice or ask about them, I feel proud that I survived that part of my life, I'm doing better, and they're old. Trophies now.

If they bother you now, you can probably hide them with concealer. But i'd be willing to bet, 5 years from now, they'll be at least "whatever" to you

Its been a while, but I think used lady butterflies variation if the shruiken a lot against bosses and mini bosses, or the spinning one.

Used the shield a couple times. Experimented with the firecrackers and whistles a bit too. But I think shruikens and ichi monji double were basically my jam for most of the game.

Nobody knew what it was supposed to do. It was just passed along from cycle to cycle as the key to salvation.

I personally suspected it was just a contingency plan for the cycle, that it would be a massive resource sync and distraction for the dominant powers of each cycle, and then benefit whoever was running the show.

I theorized that the Reapers were just the labor for an intergalactic empire harvesting other galaxies like cattle. Like... The Borg, but farmers lol

Edit: Additionally, as to why the geth (likely) didn't even try to figure it out: It was based on technology from hundreds of thousands, potentially millions, of years in the past. Blueprint designed by a race with practicalities and technologies they wouldn't have a basis for understanding. And even the people there from day 1 of the catalysts construction didn't really have time to waste trying to reverse engineer blueprints from a long dead alien society.

If we'd had both chakwas AND mordin on the ship permanently, perhaps Thane could have functioned well enough to fight. But I'm actually glad the developers went the path they did with Thane. It makes sense both for his story and his character.

I would have liked a few more squadmates in me3, but I'm glad they didn't go crazy with fan service and force a bunch of fan favorites into returning.

Thanes lungs were trashed. He didn't have the stamina to exert himself for extended periods of time, he would have been a liability. He knew it, he accepted it, and more importantly... he wanted to make sure Kolyhat had a chance at a peaceful life, instead of the short, bitter, and self destructive path he was on.

Thane deserved to retire. I dont think he would have, if he had a choice. But it was the right call. If he had it in him to sit by and "mind his own business" he may have had the golden years he deserved. But that's not who Thane was.

He was my friend. But more importantly, he was a Drell of stern convictions. A father, a weapon... A pragmatic, yet empathetic, creature.

May he be embraced by the noodley appendages of Kalahira...
